Most of my units are high cost, and do I diversify my color combos? All my other units are low leveled since I can't find a good way to level them.
Sheapy, There are several ways to kill the Legendary Blizzard Dragon. First, kill it before it hit you. For expert level, the hp of the dragon is around 220,000. This is almost impossible for a low level team. Second, use 2 monsters with the skill to half the damage of water monsters as the two leaders. So it's 1/4 damage taken from water monsters. The ATK of expert level Blizzard Dragon is 31907, so you have to make sure your total HP is higher than 7977, then you will be fine. Third, use a monster with the leader skill Perseverance. You can use my Viper Orochi. Perseverance promises you that, if you take a fatal hit when you have more than 50% percent of your HP, you survive with only 1 HP left. So with that the Blizzard Dragon can not kill you. Just recover half your HP before it hit again. It attacks every 8 turns so it should be very easy. If you can't find Viper Orochi in your friend list, you can put any Ogre type monsters as your leader. Their leader skill Resolve works the same way as Perseverance, only the percentage of HP for you to survive is 70%, not 50%. It will be tougher but still safe. This method can also be applied to many dungeons with extremely high ATK monsters. For example, the expert level of Tuesday Dungeon or Wednesday Dungeon. The fourth method is to use your Midgard as leader and hope his counterattack works. I think if it works, it will kill the dragon instantly. But it is pure gamble. Actually with my Viper Orochi you can use the third and fourth method together.
Your team blows mine out of the water, and you are 9 ranks below me! It's not letting me upload a screenshot from my phone, but I'm rank 37 and I've only just unlocked the technical dungeon. I have a tough time stringing 6+ combos together. I'll generally only get 4, and my DPS isn't high enough to kill the bosses effectively.
@RichRuzz: You certainly did spend a ton of money! (^∇^)You have lots of good monsters for the future, but learning to use them properly should be your priority. First, I'd engage in a little "cannibalism" and feed some of those duplicate monsters to each other. You're not really going to need two Titans in a party, for example, but leveling up his skill so it comes faster is a worthy gamble. Next, I'd hunt for the dragons #21, #24, #27, #30, and #33. They are ridiculously easy to get hold of, and you might have even sold or used them as fodder for your other monsters. These dragons are invaluable to your arsenal, for several reasons: 1. They have high HP and ATK 2. Their leader skill halves damage of whatever element they represent. 3. Their regular skill is 15 turn elemental attack that inflicts 20,000 to each enemy. Finally, as Back 5 said, learn your combos! Looking around on YouTube will get you some results, and I also recommend checking thus page out: http://pd.appbank.net/1179 It's in Japanese, but there are also plenty of helpful screenshots and a video link. The connected site is also the database/FAQ that GungHo links to inside the JP version of the app! I won't tell you what the "best team" is or anything like that, because learning that yourself is probably the most important part of enjoying the game. The team at GungHo have made a helluva deep game here, that you can't pay-to-win. (Not that I think you've done that, at all.(^_^)) PS: If you do have the account and the money to burn, look for "Big Combo" in the JP App Store. It can analyze screenshots of the game and map out combos for you according to a variety of criteria, and then draw you a path "through" the screenshot for you to practice tracing and use in the game.
It seems like its very difficult to find good monsters. I seem to be stuck in a loop of no-skill monsters or healers which do barely any damage. Any recommendations on how to find better creatures? I'm up to the tower of trials and am being wiped over and over... 359335282 Restarted my account... Maybe better draws Thanks!
Ah thanks. Didn't know that Viper Orochi skill worked like that. I just thought that it was a percentage chance to proc just like my Midgard. I remember that even though I counterattacked to kill a boss, I still lost since my HP went to 0 first.
If you mean the leader skills that the mecha guardians #316-320 have, it's as follows: #316 Jotun, #317 Midgard and #318 Asgard have a 25% chance of counterattacking for 10x inflicted damage. #319 Machine Golem Mk III and #320 Dark Golem Mk III have a 50% chance of counterattacking for 5x inflicted damage.
#106 Titan and #107 Gigante also have the Resolve leader skill. The strategy that employs it which tobiasdu talks about--pairing one of those monsters with a strong, preferrably auto- healer and then populating your team with relatively low HP monsters to make healing to 50% or 70% health easier--is called the "zombie team" here in Japan. (^_^) Just be careful with it, as it falls apart against multiple opponents; one monster wallops you and you survive with 1 HP thanks to Resolve and Perseverence, but then his buddy breathes on you the next instant and you die anyway.
It's also called "zombie team" in China, lol. I used my zombie tean to get past the Expert Mask Dungeon and the Rainbow Keeper Dungeon. As long as I don't get hit by 2 monsters at the same time, it's impossible to die.
Does it matter when you evolve fusion your monster? Some of my monsters are capable of evolving but they aren't maxed out yet at their current level.
Is there a way to get the big combo app without a jap itunes account? I was watching this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGpS-DMajSU and its amazing how fast he chain the combos, what is the best way to learn chaining combos? Also looking for water element helpers!
