Can anyone tell me what this icon is? When I look at the window that shows you all the resources you currently have, I'm having problems figuring out what exactly the bottom-right most icon represents. Is there some place I can look it up? that line looks like: bars of iron, bars of silver, gold (i think), and ??? thanks!
I got hit by the null string bug about two minutes after getting my castle. The developer should be horse whipped for this, it isn't a rare bug and needless to say the only way it could be more catastrophic would be if it made your iPad explode and send shards of gorilla glass through your eyeballs. Horse. Whipped.
I just got no string bug, fortunatelly kept save file in my computer but it's midnight now so I'm gonna restore it tomorow (today?)
Hye, I bought the game and really enjoyed it for the first few couple hours. But I have to say there's some really anti-fun mechanics in this game that turn me off. The addition of rats and wolves make the game really annoying for someone who wants just to farm for 5 minutes while taking a break. I wish you can review this please.
I think if you just don't build the buildings that let you get "advanced resources" then those things won't appear. You might still be able to get advanced resources from the marketplace.
A good game - just got my castle - congrats to the devs. Feedback: Hard/annoying choosing tools - at least remember where I was in tool bar last time and take me back there Quite a few (memory related?) crashes Could be cool to add ability to zoom in / out Hard to get more earth in late game - potentially add a peasant like you did for hay
Rats and wolves add variety into the game. You will have buildings that allow you to chain wolves with trees, rats with grass and grass with tree. They all work together.
Why in the name of all things holy was this NOT a rush fix?! Unless it was used up already, there's no excuse. None.
I was almost done and put a ton of hours into it only to see my saved file is corrupt. Wtf I'm pissed. Nothing worse than losing all your progress in a game. Thanks Chillingo
In the patch we focused on fixing the two critical bugs. Sharing the game between devices is a bit more complicated and we did not want to do it in a hurry. And yes, the update was pushed as a rush fix, but the final decision is up to Apple. So, fingers crossed.
@Jalapeno: If you have no problem so far old save of course will be working. If you were hit by no string bug then your save is gone. It was clean by the device and unfortunately you have to reset the game.
I've got no string bug, loaded save files from 2 or 3 launches (manual backup, not iTunes) before this bug and I was still at no string, deleted saves from iCloud, loaded manual saves and now I've got "Welcome! New game"? I backed up Documents folder. You are not using Library folder for back ups since there are only small highscores, right?
