You can't have it both ways. The only way to get rubble is with an explosion. I actually found this strange myself as I was playing. Consider the conveyor belt (I think) that lets you collect rubble. You have to build the vent pipe first iirc, but why on earth would you need to clear rubble, if you could already clear the gas that causes the rubble? Moreover, I think building the thing takes a significant amount of rubble, too (meaning you'd have to allow a bunch of explosions even though you could clear the gas). The conveyor belt should come in the build order before the vent shaft, IMO, much earlier than it currently does, and require much less rubble to build.
So after reading almost every page it seems there is a glitch up where your save game gets wiped? Should I wait for update and any word on how soon it will be?
That glitch seems to be very sporadic and I have not seen many folks report having it happen to them. You should just buy the app and start enjoying it.
Afaik, it has only happened to people well into the game, so I think you are safe to get started. But hopefully there will be a fix soon.
I have all the buildings in the game. I'm level 27. But when i go to the mine there is almost never iron anymore. There is gold, diamonds, stone and loads of silver. But only sometimes a ore of iron. Anyone else has this to? Because i really need the iron to hire a couple of workers.
Does anyone know which building and worker units require dirt on high levels? How much dirt? I want to plan out ahead and save up loads of dirt for later use so that I do not have to use the shop later in the game.
I am at the same point and, as the developer responded to a similar query I posted a few pages back, you can grind for it (my words) or buy the iron bars from the store. In my thinking, it is no big deal as the more precious metals are more valuable and you can sell some of them to buy the iron.
Just FYI for the devs, the game kept crashing on me when I was trying to collect rubble needed to build the Conveyor Belt. I would say it crashed on me about three or four times, each time after I had used dynamite several times in order to collect the rubble.
Geekydad: We've already fixed this problem. Today we should finish works on fixes. I will confirm this later afternoon but looks promising. I will keep you updated. Best Bartek
I also encountered the bug that has erased my save (I was level 18!) When the update comes to fix it will my save be able to get restored? I really don't want to start again, I feel I won't have the motivation to get so close to the finish again.
Another game save erased? What did you do to loose it? Any word on when the update is going live and does it fix this issue
I am really enjoying the game but is it just me or is the game sucking up battery life way too fast? Maybe I'm just playing too much...
It's just a matter of probability. You gain more chances for diamond/gold/coal/silver to show up and thus, decreasing your chances to get iron/stone. Just buy them from the store, you should have plenty of coins. On the topic of mining, the 36 dirt achievement is bugged. So is the resources achievement.
I'm loving it so far! I just have one question that I hope doesn't make me sound too stupid I'm finding lots of buildings that read "collecting X takes no time." What does this mean? I haven't noticed anything taking time to collectÂ… Anyway the clarification would be super. Would like to know what this stuff does before I use the resources to build them!
When you go into farming, you start off with a 24-move allocation. (You can increase this later on, so I'm not sure if is IS 24 that you start with, but you get the idea) Every move you make takes one away - but with those buildings, the corresponding matches will be "free" and not cost anything.
Farming is limited to a number of days. Every turn deducts 1 day from the season. If you have a building, for example, that says matching chickens takes no time, then of you match chickens it is a free turn and no day is deducted from the season.
Is there a chart somewhere that lists ALL of the buildings and requirements for the entire game? This way, I can see ahead of the raw materials needed to gather that would be difficult find later in the game (like dirt and iron)?
We are working to fix the problem and will submit the update to Apple any day now. It seems that in some occasions, on iOS 5.1.x, usually while syncing the game to the iCloud, the save gets erased. At the moment the only way to proceed is to reset the progress and start a new village. Deep apologies for the inconvenience. As soon as the fix is ready we will let you know.
