It's actually pretty easy with fertilizer and rake to clear the weeds.

The 36 dirt is going to be tough.

    Mr. Album,

One thing you don't mention is that fun is subjective. It doesn't matter to me in the slightest if someone else doesn't like the same game I do, or if they think this game stinks because (e.g. They don't enjoy match-3s). But in threads like this, I do try and counteract misinformation so that people who would potentially really enjoy the experience will hopefully not be dissuaded from it.

Yup, fertilizer is your friend. Getting the dirt one is probably easier to do fairly early in the game. You have to go in with tools to collect stone and iron, then hope you get lucky.

    Absolutely loving this game.

I am not an expert in this genre of game, but I need to say that anyone running into situations where you are running out of resources (especially gold) are doing it wrong. This is my first time dabbling in this genre and I have yet to have any issues during the first 10 levels.

Just a question for those farther along in the game. Is ever a tool introduced that will allow you to pick up coal and diamonds in the mine the way we have the Carrot basket and Pig Wheelbarrow?

Yup. Every commodity has a harvesting tool.

Great!! Thanks for the quick reply!

Does this go for the "super" commodities as well. I can't remember what they are but I am pretty sure I got an apple or something once for chaining 6-8 carrots. Only got that once, and it really hurt to have to exit my farming session without being able to pick it up!!

I have the NO STRING error too. All these headless people are...unnerving.

Yes, there are apple pickers and other tools but they are pretty resource intensive. Chaining 10 apple nets you a golden coin that earns you 50 xp and 200 coins. :)

    WOW!!!

As mentioned this is my first time dabbling in this genre. The thought of chaining 10 apples seems MIND BOGGLING!! I was impressed enough when I had enough carrots to chain for ONE apple. I couldn't even begin to imagine having 10 apples to chain!!

Absolutely loving this game, and to anyone on the fence for a purchase, all I can say is BUY IT! As mentioned earlier I have never played this type of game before and I am doing just fine without even needing to think about IAP. I don't want to sound rude or ignorant but the people having issues with running out of commodities or gold are doing something wrong, I have never been close to running out. I mean sure there are the odd times I want to build a tool or a building and I am a couple of "hay" or "stones" short, but 1 quick farming/mining session clears that "problem" up instantly. Not once have I been close to running out of gold, or encountering a situation where I had nothing to do and had to wait for a timer to countdown. I mean I think I had 200 gold already coming out of the tutorial, so once again not sure how people are having issues.

Try to kill the process, then reset the game. Please send on [email protected] details of your device. Sorry for that! Will be fixed with upcoming fix no1.

Puzzle game of the year so far, Slydris is right under this one..... Puzzle Craft is the clear winner!!!

Fits idevices so perfect, tough yet not to tough. No in your face IAP, but it's there if your the type that NEEDS it NOW! No fast paced timer to beat, go at your own speed and build your "Baconville :D " as you like.

Perfect, I can see this going free to play.... But I really hope it does not. As it is, it's WELL worth $5... the fact that it's only .99cents blows my mind!!!

    Well done!!!

Puzzle Craft 2?? I thought we will get new content updates into this game. You even did not told us about Puzzle Craft 2 but told about Puzzle Craft 2 updates? or you mean Puzzle Craft v2.0? I'm a little bit confused

I am pleased that things in this thread are calming, finally.
The whole stuff was really getting religious... err, ridiculous. Lol.

Updates to Puzzle Craft will be great, but I will have finished the game before they are available. I am on level 25 currently. I would really love to see a sequel with substantially more features (not that PC does not have an amazing amount of depth already).

I am very happy to see your game is doing well in both the iPad and iPhone sales charts; it deserves it!

There is a lot to like about this game, but I'm stuck with the feeling of not knowing what I "should" be doing. I hate that feeling.

    Hows everyone doing so far?

    Currently I'm:-

    Level 16
1448 gold coins (all earnt, none bought)
4 'workers' maxxed out at level 5
Iron Miner, Lumberjack, Poultry-Man and Reaper.
    My town is a 'village'

    Some stats:-
    Traced with finger: 407m
    Taxes collected: 770
    Visits to fields: 51
    Visits to mine: 37
    Resources gathered: 2477
    Money Earned: 2564
    Buildings owned: 36

Loving it so far, yeah I was harsh about the iap as I really hate it but there is no need to buy it in fact I'd go as far as saying buying any coins would spoil your game.

I apologize if it's been asked. I searched the forum and didn't see anything related. How do set off TNT?! I know it's used to capture rubble, but I never see any rubble. Am I missing something. Thanks in advance.

Rubble only appears in the wake of a gas explosion. Gas explosions occur when 3 or more gas tiles are left connected for a turn.
