@ArsThanea When I link 3 or more rats, it counts as a free turn. This doesn't apply for wolves though. Is it suppose to be that way?
When I play the mining game, if I let a bunch of gas bubbles explode to the point where I don't have any possible moves left, the game crashes. This happens consistently-- every time I run out of moves. Not sure if it could happen on the farming game since I've never run out of moves on it.
Initially installed on my original iPad (yes, crashing issues as previous posters have mentioned - sometimes at loading screen, sometimes in the middle of gameplay) and then installed on my iPhone 4S as well, but since it doesn't appear to sync with my game already in progress on the iPad, haven't started playing it much yet to see if it will be stable. Also haven't installed on my new iPad yet, either, since I don't need three different levels going at once, lol. So, doesn't appear this game has cloud sync, or am I just missing something? Would be a bummer if no sync, especially for people who bought IAP I would think...
Love how puzzles dont have timer. As someone who's terrible at 10000000 im enjoying this quite a lot.
iPhone 4 iOS 5.1.1 and only 1 single crash when I collected loot. I played it for two days and totally love it. Question for developers: Will there be more content in future updates?
im running a iphone 4 and not yet once had a crash for it, and like the other person will there be any future updates to this game, Also has anyone finished it? Does the game just end or can u carry on?
IMPORTANT IAP NOTICE Hey Guys! We have some feedback from you that there's an issue with iApps. Apparently on some devices/configurations you couldn't make a purchase (fe. AmethystAlicia) We're very sorry about that. Game was tested and everything worked just fine. We will fix this problem as fast as we can and we will try to work on solution that guys who bought iAp's will get their gold with the next update (We will try our best to do that). We've just returned to the office after 12h of drive and 2 days of almost no sleep but as far as we get rest we will try to supply you with fix. New update is nearly ready and apart from major bugs fixed (etc iApps, stability) you will have some nice improvements to the game. For the rest of the questions we will try to get back to you with answers over the weekend. Thank you for your support and patience!
You wanted to cheat within an hour of playing? This is why good games like this are being crippled with iap's people like this ^^ The developers see lazy people and ££ signs light up in their eyes. as for the game, yes I bought it and yes it is really fun but no, I certainly will not be buying any gold, imo thats tantamount to cheating and would reduce the longevity of the game. TL;DR - Some people are incredibly lazy and games companys see ££ in that.
Wait, what's wrong with buying IAP like this? People enjoy games in different ways, you're extremely narrow minded for judging people and calling them lazy.
the game developers are trying to make money?!?! what an outrage!! I thought they developed games simply for the enjoyment of others. I was so confused when this game actually cost money.
seriously tho. this thread should be about the game, which is very good, not about the IAP war. Love this game. been playing it non-stop. great job developers!
Money is not hard to get you dont need IAP. You farm for food, use food in mines and you build stuff to make puzzles easier. Wish you could do more like fight other villages or something but for this price i cant complain.
Great game I'm at a loss as to why people aren't enjoying and praising this game. I almost didn't purchase it because of the early negative posts about paywalls and IAP. My only complaint about this game is that there isn't a confirmation button when you hit "Buy Now" for a structure. I accidently spent $300 because I hit that button and there was no "Spend $300? Yes/No" button. Other than that: Level 9, $500 gold, having a great time. And to the poster having problems with gas bubbles in the mine, you can make and use a lantern- that takes care of the problem.
I know about that. I'm saying that the app crashes if you choose not to use lanterns and your board fills up.
I had the game crash on me as well on my iPad 3 after a series of gas explosions. I had previously worked so hard to avoid them fearing letting one happen would end my mining run, but once I heard it just means a little rubble I've found them to be no more than mild annoyances and was intentionally (even though I had plenty of lanterns on hand) letting several play out. Perhaps the game doesn't know how to handle further explosions in an already rubble dense area?
If you don't buy stuff in the marketplace, pay for buildings, or spend coins to extend farming/mining, it would be nearly impossible to run out of money (short of not using resources you acquired). Still, if they just removed the cost to farm/mine, it would remove the appearance that there is a pay wall. There would still be plenty of incentive to buy coins for those so inclined.
Well, just started the game, and I must say, the video doesn't do the game justice. It's actually quite a beautiful game with a kind of Layton-esque art style. Really, really love the aesthetics -- the relaxing tone is exactly what I needed right now -- and yeah, the game kinda has it all for Dungeon Raid fanatics. Probably the best thing with the Chillingo branding to come out in a good while. Just recommended it to my wife.
Don't be stupid, theres no need to be an arse. The developers do make money, I BOUGHT it after all and if the price was £2 I would have also bought it had it no iap's. With iap's they make 69p off me, without iap's they could have made £2-3 off me. Don't give me the 'poor pauper developers' crap. Going back on topic and talking about the game, it IS a good game and I will recommend it to people I know, as well as give it a good rating.
Well, this game just sucked a chunk of my life away -- don't where the hell the time went. I almost didn't buy it because of what I was reading here, but wow, I'm glad I did. I can see this lasting me a good while. That being said, I want the developers to know that I'll be 1-starring you on the App Store because of the notifications. I loathe that ****. If and when you should choose to ask (and abide) my permission for notifications, I'll zap that up to 5 stars immediately. I'm drunk with power!
I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that what I do with my money was any of your business. I posted in this thread to inform the developer of this issue, not to be insulted by strangers for spending $2. If I want hardcore gaming, I have my Xbox 360 and my computer. I play casual games on my iPhone and sometimes that includes buying IAPs to speed things up a bit if I don't feel like waiting 2+ hours for more coins. Sometimes, I don't even buy IAPs solely for speeding things up in a game, I buy them to *gasp* support the developer! Cheating is when you do something you're not supposed to do. If I wasn't supposed to buy currency, then there wouldn't be a way to do so. I also find it funny you would assume I'm lazy just because I tried to buy $2 worth of coins. Playing smartphone games is nothing more than tapping the screen to accomplish a goal...if I was lazy I wouldn't even bother playing games at all. Puzzle Craft is a really neat little game and unlike some people, I realize that developers need money to continue updating and maintaining apps, and since I'd like Puzzle Craft to continue being a fun little game, I'll toss a couple dollars to the developers once in a while to help support it. I do the same thing with Tiny Tower and DragonVale. You don't have to spend a penny in those games to play; I was able to upgrade to the best elevator in Tiny Tower just by saving Bux earned in game, and I have over 700 Bux at the moment, but I'll buy some Bux every now and then to support the developer so they continue adding new floors to the game. DragonVale is the same. I have all possible upgrades just by saving gems from the colosseum and from friends gifting them to me, but I'll still buy some once in a while to show my appreciation to the developer. I'm not an entitled brat who thinks that just because I have an iPhone I deserve the best, highest quality apps for free or that developers should continue updating apps without receiving any type of compensation. Developers don't make apps out of the kindness of their hearts so we have something to do on our phones when we're bored. They make them for money. I'm sure you don't work for free so why should developers?
