I've been using Push for a few hours now (usually have it off due to my iPhone's standard horrible battery life), and have gotten several notifications, but the trouble is that none of them have given me sound at all. I was thinking it's because they don't give off a sound when the phone is in Sleep mode, but I could have sworn when I had them on the other times, my phone was in sleep mode and I still heard a sound along with the notification. So am I remembering wrong? Or is there something wrong with the sound on my Push notifications?
Eliminate has scared the hell out of me 3 different times. Usually at about 1 AM I'll be just about to fall asleep and I'll hear that freaking explosion sound and I'll like jump out of my bed
When I open Settings I have a long list of apps that are supposed to have push notifications, but the only app I ever get them from is facebook. the ONLY other app that's given me a notification is Hook champ, and that was only once.
Facebook is the only one that I've been getting notifications from today, but it's the one I'm talking about that doesn't give a sound (nor does it vibrate) when I get one. I thought I remembered it making sounds a couple weeks ago. I'm kind of confused now :\ I restarted my phone and still have no sound when I get a notification. Is that just how Facebook is?
All right, so far it seems Facebook is the only app that isn't making sound with its Push Notification. eBay, OpenFeint, Pocket God, and Depict all made sound for me. Is this just how Facebook is? No sound or vibration at all? Seems odd, especially since it has the option for Sound, but if that's all it is, I'm not too worried. Can someone else with Facebook tell me if they get sound with theirs?
I get Facebook notifitcations almost every morning, but it's never woken me up... so I assume there's no sound.
I have facebook with push notifications and it has never made any sounds, it has woken me a few times though because it has a tendency to light up the entire bedroom when the notification is displayed.
