    That’s great to hear!

The game is gonne be very funny and fun. What’s not fun in blowing away cute little puppets :D

We plan to have many levels, with rising difficulty. In the meantime they all take place at the main studio set. We plan to update the game with more set maps (like a forest stage with lots of obscuring trees, a cityscape, a castle and maybe even other places in the studio like the crippy cellar, offices and such ).

The enemies are comprised of a bunch of puppets with different abilities and strengths. Like the suicidal puppet, the TNT thrower and more. I won’t reveal everything now so you have some surprises in the game.
Since production time is running out we will have boss battles in future updates, a “big boss” puppet is already in modeling but I’m not sure we’ll be able to squeeze him in to the first version… but he’ll get there :)

Thanks Nascor, the weapons are prerendered since we wanted them to look the best they could and not be worried about huge polygon counts.

This isn't a First Person Shooter. It's a First Puppet Shooter. Duh.

Could you give us an idea on the control scheme?

    Doing nothing of importance.
    Somewhere
Doom: Sesame Street Edition. That could be the greatest concept I've ever seen on the App Store. And I've seen a LOT of ridiculous concepts.

That looks awesome! I'll be picking this up for sure. It's games like these that make the app store all that better.

Can you actually move your character in this game? Or is it on the rails?

Yeah, this looks to be a impulse buy as soon as it's released. I'll not wait for impressions, I'll give them:)

Am I the only one reminded of Battle-Bears or Radioactive Teddy Bear Zombies (Adult Swim flash game)?

Oh well, can't wait to rip apart Puppets with Nun-chuks and an M4(A1?) Carbine :D

Thank you again for all your positive comments and support :)

The control scheme is kind of NOVA style.

The move joystick on your left, to aim and turn you swipe your finger on the screen and you shoot with the fire button.
Of course with the automatic weapons you’ll be able to hold down the fire button and swipe to aim and shoot continuously until you run out of bullets or your weapon heats up.

Oh yea, you'll be doing a lot of moving in the game! Unless you want an exploding fish or chicken hitting your head :p

The player has to collect droppables from the dead puppets to earn money. And once in a while run across the set to get health/ammo packs.

So you'll actually have to move toward your enemy and not just run backwards and shoot.

Maybe you will stand in place once you get the powerful minigun and just rip those puppets apart all around you :D

is there unlockable areas and doors and stuff? i mean like whats in cod:zombies
or is it single area levels?
i reckon it be cool to be able to run through a whole office building, going up and down stairs, through coffee rooms, bathrooms, on elevators, shooting windows and then jumping through them to escape the puppets lol

Sorry Goose, Got no blood for you. The puppets just began their attack on the world and the janitor is their first victim. So they are still pretty neat and clean :)

There will be cotton flying out of the puppets when you shoot them and when they die.

And Playn those ideas would be very cool but a lot of work for a two man dev team. Though we have been thinking of stuff like that for a sequel. Have you fight the puppets in places outside the studio, city and building scenarios. That could lead to a lot of funny situations :D

Game looks really cool. Any idea on pricing and a release date ? Also I didn't see it mentioned any where but this seems like an awesome game for some multiplayer coop.

    Thanks guys :)

We are just now finishing work on a short teaser/trailer with actual gameplay footage and we’ll be posting it here very soon so keep your eyes open.

And actually after long hours of no sleep the game has been submitted to the App-store! Yey!
So hopefully the game will be out any day now!

We think the game turned out really awesome and fun to play!

The game will be launching at the introductory price of 1.99 to reward early buyers :)

“Mondae” did you mean by “left AND right stick control scheme” controls for left handed gamers? We will incorporate that in following updates.

And “SirAwesome” about multiplayer that would be very cool and hopefully we could incorporate that in future updates but it would require a bit of reworking since the weapons are all prerendered to look pretty. We’ll think of a solution.

In the meantime I posted some new gameplay screenshots on our facebook page : http://www.facebook.com/pages/Puppet-War/122309597791275

    Video coming soon! :)
