Here's the changelog for the next update: - New mode! Unlock it from the title screen. Spartan Mode has you start in the dungeon with no skills or powers, and you must find them at random in a dungeon with new room types! - New scoreboard for Spartan Mode. - New Ultra Belts! Change your belt buckle while conveying an extra Power II skill! Very expensive. - New Share button in the top of the retry screen. If you like the game, use that button to tell your friends via Twitter, messaging, email, or Facebook. - Ultra Hats changed. They now are buyable straight from that section, cost 200k, but always have a skill on them. Rerolls cost 100k, but always give a Power I skill. - Gnomey gives money now on level ups, though we plan to give him something else to award later. - More mystery items. All hats, all the time. - Price adjustments to the shop. Quests are also adjusted. - IAP packs readjusted, they now give more coins per dollar. - Skip buttons on the quest summary screen, for convenience. - Quest boxes tell you when you need to buy a new skill, and how many coins you'd need to buy it. Bugfixes: - Fix for the money-eating bug. Email support if you have any issues with data loss, still. - We can restore idols now. Please email support if you ever lost any. - We can restore hats now, too. - Achievement bug fixed! Quests sometimes not completing bug fixed! - Various other fixes. There's probably some other stuff I'm forgetting, too. We submitted this a few days ago, now just waiting for Apple to approve it. We're hoping it's out by the 21st, otherwise it'll probably not be available until after the 28th.
Thanks for the update Kepa. Just as a head-ups, you should probably update your signature to show that Punch Quest now costs $0.99 and is not free anymore.
The price of IAP stays the same, but you get more PUNCHOS per pack to compensate for the new/increased item prices.
This is one of my favorite games. It actually adheres to the "easy to learn, hard to master" golden gaming rule. I've never suggested this game to someone and them not like it.
Kepa mentioned on Twitter that it looks like there's a good chance that the update will be approved before the AppStore freeze. Not sure if this means it's in review queue or not, but it's awesome nonetheless.
is it just me or does the game get 10x more exciting when a new update is released? now to save up for all the new goodies!
Love the update, gonna have to throw a few more dollars your way spartan mode is challenging and the new dungeons are pretty cool. In normal mode currently rocking hungry man with dull pain ultra hat, shield buster with power slam ultra belt, and thunderpunch. Deadly combinations abound! Any chance of a future ultra item which will come with a super move?!?!?
Punch Quest is now free again. If the $0.99 scared off your friends, tell them now is the time to get it.
Is there any way to transfer level 1 power hats from one account to another? I just upgraded my device and was trying to move from the old to the new, and unfortunately the new device doesn't sync with the same level 1 power hat. Regardless, great game!
To the developers: Is 10,000 punchos the fixed reward for God Up, now, or is the reward a random amount and 10,000 just what I happened to get, this time ?
