Is the 20% chance for a skill a 'every 5th reroll'? I'm hoping so because I've just done my 4th reroll with no luck!
No, we'll still have to restore things manually for things lost this update. Tap the "email support" button in options, and I can do that. Also, in either this fix update or the big update after, we're changing hat rerolls. They'll cost 200k now, but always give a power I skill, 100% of the time.
Punch Quest update should be hitting the App Store today! Especially get it if you've had data loss problems.
Updated and lost all my punchos... Over 400,000 I'm not sure I'm even interested in playing any more EDIT: turns out the levels for gnomey were reset as well, I was at 65/70 and it is now at 1/50. I wasn't even given an ultra hat in return. That's the second time that leveling has been lowered and reset all my progress
Yeah, me too, though I only lost about 30k punchos. I was also at lvl 58/70 and lost progress without a hat in return. Argh...
Just installed the new update and found a terrible bug. Clicking on the scores tab brings up you and all your friends heroes....with NO pants. That's right, everyone is nude but wearing hats and gauntlets. Check it for a quick laugh!
Just installed the lost data bug fix update and...... lost all my data I had my data reset the first time about 2 weeks ago. EDIT: The dev hooked me up with 100k punchos Thanks for the support, I'll be adding a couple bucks to the tip jar.
Haven't had any data loss issues after the update. I like the new Power Up icons and animations, and the dinosaur/Gnomey bonus levels seem to control better. Update's great but it sux others are having problems. And the Score table nudity bomb is pretty super.
Wow, funny how nobody noticed the NAKED SCORES during testing (myself included). I had to change the drawing priority of stuff since a mask was showing up behind the clothes, and forgot to put the new clothes function in the highscore table code. As for the data loss... this build was supposed to be able to recover from a bad save state(s), so seeing it clear out a good one is a bit puzzling. Any info about what was reset and what wasn't would be appreciated!
Email support button in options, provide details. We can restore coins. Also, iCloud sync restores your ultra hats, now, with skills.
no issues here with updating. I still have all my hats and punchos, all of my stats and idols are still intact as well. (iPod gen4, running 5.1.1 still)
I haven't had any data loss before but now I've installed the latest update which is supposed to fix things and all of my punchos are gone. Gnome level is reset to 1, too. I still have all my upgrades, hats and all that stuff, though.
Yes, it is looking like if gnomey is over level 50 when this update is first run, then it will cause the player settings (gnome level, punchos etc.) to be defaulted. The other stuff should be OK. Use the SUPPORT button if you lose punchos.
Love the update, I'm really glad the accidental jump glitch is gone it was bothersome. The power skill badges or whatever you call them look real nice too. Currently 70th in all time kills, goin for 1!
