Universal Punch Quest - (by Rocketcat Games)

What are the controls like for this game on the iPad? I love them on my iPhone so I was wondering if they work well on the pad?

On iPad your only options are tilt and headtracking.

 

You forgot to mention that's only for the Roll and Headbutt moves which are unique to the iPad.

 

Madgarden does all of his testing on an iPad if that helps answer your question. I've tried it once or twice and while I prefer to play on my iPod because it fits my smaller hands better, control wise felt the same.

I have had several acheivments pop up while I am playing but when I go into Game Center its not showing up.... Is that normal?

 

There are some reports of certain achievements not showing... I re-post them after every game. Will have to quadruple-check to make sure the achievement ID's are matching up.

Coincidentally I did just technically suicide, beating you will have to be put on hold since my stuff just got wiped once again. -___- ha

 

My straight punches are still unresponsive at random times. Pretty annoying when I'm on a good run.

Twiddle, any other hints as to what's going on in the game when this occurs? I can't reproduce so far, and logic is the same for both touches/commands.

 

While I haven't seen this issue on PQ, I have experienced it on Zombie Tsunami. I suspect that it is an issue either in iOS 6.0.1 or with the new touchscreen on the iPod Touch 5 (both of which I am using).

 

How are you scoring 500,000+ points and getting 200-300 hit combos!?

My best is like 70 hits and my high score is like 90,000

 

Unfortunately there isn't much else I can say about the bug that hasn't already been said. Sometimes I can't perform straight punches(jabs and dash punches) but I can still uppercut etc. No clue what triggers it. I'm on an iPhone 4 with the latest iOS software.

 

Twiddle, next time it happens, can you see if blocking still works at that point? Also, try just a single tap on either side of the screen. It's all just using the same touch event, so should be no difference between dash or uppercut.

 

Started up punch quest after a few weeks. I had a hat from leveling a gnome and now it's gone and my gnome is back to 1/50. Still have my hat from buying iap though. Saw a notice that they submitted a bug fix. Is it going to restore what ppl lost?

 

I just downloaded and started Punch Quest (by the way, Rocketcat, Mage Gauntlet is THE best game I've played on my iPod), and when I touched "punch quests" it shows gnomey but no quests. It just says i should complete quests to help him attain god hood, but doesn't list anything I should be doing. Is that normal?

 

Exit and restart the app, should be back to normal afterwards
