Weird that so many ppl have problem with reaching level 15. Personally I find the 200 enemies and 15 torches in one game MUCH harder. I always skip them 'cause they slow me down too much.
While I don't have much trouble with this one any more, I know I did get stranded on level 12 or 13 a lot when I was still struggling with it. So yeah, 12 seems like a good spot if you want to make it easier. Modify the 200 enemies one down to 150 while you're at it
15 torches in one game is probably just as hard. Man either I suck at this game or it just has a brutal difficulty curve at level 11 or so. I have no problem making to to about level 11 and then I ALWAYS die. Between the difficult enemies and spikes in your way it almost doesn't seem fair but I probably just need to keep practicing. Having bought the punchos doubler helps.
Seconding the bug where the punch buttons stop responding for a few secs. It's pretty rare, but it happened to me a few times, and not just the uppercut.
Ehh, in between the time between these two posts, I beat the level 15 quest twice and the 15 torch quest twice. Seriously. Not saying you suck, but I don't have any problems those two quests. Oh, and I also just bought out of the 200 enemy quest yet again. I agree. It's really subtle, but it does happen. I hate subtle bugs.
What are you doing differently once you hit level 11 or so and the enemies get so much deadlier. The harder wraith, the trolls with pointy shields and the airborn enemies suddenly start becoming more accurate with their attacks.
For that 15 torches mission, are you using the power 2 skill "Power Slam"? That helps a lot for that mission. Also, you should just try to increase your reflexes with this game. It takes a while to get used to, but when you do, it's quite fun to get a high score!
I only got the 101% accuracy quest 1 time, was the easiest quest to get a lot of punchos. I think level 12 is two easy...i almost never have a game, where i am below 12 - with 12 it should only be a 250 punchos quest (500 with doubler). I think you should consider lowering the 200 enemies in one game to 150 - that would still be not too easy. I got issues with my iPhone 5 on 6.0.1: block instead of uppercut and dashes instead of uppercut. It helps to play with swipe blocking, but this way i don't block at all, my reaction time is too slow to use swipe for blocking.
iPhone 4 There's just strategy to the game that you have to figure out. For example, you have to wait until the trolls with the point shields are about to swing their clubs to actually punch them. Also, I have two questions about the steam buster power up: does it allow uppercuts to do more damage, and does it grant a minimal amount of immunity in some instances? When I use it on torches at some angles, it will knock it off in one hit, which isn't typical. And I can swear that it also has priority over some enemies hits. If that's the case, then steam buster is actually a surprisingly good power. EDIT: Also just a small suggestion, could you add a shuffler just for the color scheme? Would be pretty nifty. EDIT2: Another suggestion, could you add save slots for customizations so we can load looks we already made before?
So I still don't know if the issue is TOTAL UNRESPONSIVENESS or accidental blocking. The latter is fixed with a new control option in the soon-to-be-approved update.
For 15 torches in one game all you need is power spam. As number ten on the leader boards I must say all these challenges are quite possible. Ha
Like my character? It's pretty hilarious when he loses his "hat", which happens to be his ears. EDIT: Hair clips behind the ears, so sometimes it looks a little bit odd, fix this please!
"Finally the new Update!" Thats what i thought when i saw it... I played this awesome game for 29 Hours total now and i didnt want to stop but the Slowmotion after every hit just killed it for me now. I really hope you guys could change this again or maybe add a Button in the Options to turn it on and off. Ohh, but the new Thunderpunch is really awesome and seems extrem strong to me compared to the "old" ones. Sorry for my bad grammar, it's not my native language.
Yeah, the slow motion is a new addition... people were complaining of lack of feedback when getting hit. It also gives you more time to react/recover. You'll get used to it. Hey it's good enough for Street Fighter 2. Besides I like it, it's staying. XcomboX the Play Music in the BG doesn't work right yet, aiming to fix that for the final update. YUS THUNDERPUNCH
