I thought the puncho doubler was permanent? I bought it when it came out and now its gone and I have to buy it again. It clearly states its "permanent" though...
It is permanent. Check your "upgrades" list and you'll see it. The button to buy it in the IAP list doesn't grey out or anything, so don't go by that.
Punch Quest has the best controls of any iOS game I've played. You guys really nailed it. Very excited to see more changes incoming. Will wait on re-rolling my hats, then! If nothing else, it seems like you guys are learning a lot from this game.
I've personally put in about $40 into this FREE game. It's a great game. Kepa and madgarden can't do everything we ask. But they do their best. So here's my appreciation post. Keep doing what you doing, most of us we'll play regardless. Haha
Thanks! I appreciate all the support from everyone. It's still chugging along. I think people will really like the stuff in the big update (even though pets aren't possible anymore).
Looking forward to the next update! I hope you didn't take my posts the wrong way, I really enjoy the game. Here's to the future of Punch Quest! *Takes two cans of beer out of the drink hat I'm wearing and clashes them together, pretending Kepa is holding the second can* (forever alone) Hmm, a drinking hat would be pretty sweet. Put that in the next update!
Anybody know what gnomeys talking about when he says there's a "secret horse mode?" I've never stumbled across that before.
^Gnomey, if that's even his real name, can't be trusted! There was a line in Raising Hope this week that I think PQ fans would like: Burt Chance: Fireman, cowboy, football player. I'm tellin' ya, all the good jobs have hats.
Clearly, it's a secret mode where a vengeful horse-ghost starts attacking everything whenever you use an Ultra Move (see totally in-context screenshot).
Woahhhhh is that legit?? Your screenshots right at the beginning of the game? Haha I literally just got to the actual gnomey, (FINALLY) and I've never encountered that. I've gotten gnome party plenty of times though?
Curse you! Now I must acquire that hat in order to see the combination, AT ANY COST. Which, to be fair, is several dollars maximum, and I was going to do that anyway. The Skullcap and Ninja Mask go together pretty well too, for a head-wrappings effect. Which, coincidentally, gave me a Batman villain.
How are you gettin 200k+? I find I do great till about 100k and level 10 or 11 and then I start dying and taking big damage of multiple hearts quickly. I die super fast even with full health.
This is my current avatar of punchitude: Arthur from Ghosts N' Goblins. He's really missing some white boxers with red hearts. xD
