Hi, Welcome! So far I only did it 3 times out of 100 tries for that mission. Its very difficult indeed
I've had no problem doing this, all you have to do is jump up and slam a bat down into another enemy, or uppercut a orc and then immediately slam it back to the ground theres usually plenty of enemies around the orcs to hit. (jab them after the slam down for added combo potential)
I do that, but I still don't get the credit, and I have to do that 5 times. I know that you have to build up the meter before the skill becomes active.. still no dice
Yeah this one is a bit hard to trigger since you need to slam an enemy into another enemy... will probably fix it so it's just the slam hit itself that matters.
Anyone know of a quick way to dispose of torches? It took me a few runs to break ten of them when the first quest involving it showed up, but now it wants me to break fifteen in a single run. For what it's worth, I tried using Flying Fist to keep airborne a little longer, but the problem seems to be that my punches just don't have enough power behind them to bust torches in the relatively small window of time. Thoughts?
Hmm not sure them thats weird, it is my favorite skill to use so maybe I've just got the timing down or something. Try adding quick slam see if it makes it any easier.
Quick Slam/Power Slam/Skullcracker Power slam breaks them in one hit, quick slam gets you to the ground to set up for the next one if they are in a row, and skullcracker obliterates torches. Very easy that way.
bought 20,000 punchos. just dropped it all on cosmetic stuff because I want to earn my way through the game but still support the developers! great game. you ruined my studying last night for my exams today. If I fail my calc exam this is 100% on you guys.
This game is totally awesome but I have two quick questions.... the quest where you have to 'get a power-up' how'd you get it? Also, how do you power slam??
thanks for the absolutely awesome puncho game! i enjoy this a hell lot more than any other endless runner so far... good job. now, a question i'm not sure if i'm the only one.. == will we have optional portrait orientation ? == it's a bit painful as iphone 4/4s's sharp edges kinda carved into my fingers, maybe cos i'm holding it wrong? thanks! keep it up!
The game actually has portrait orientation built-in already. Just turn your phone around and it should re-adjust right away!
Powerups show up in the branching paths marked with a fist. They're the glowy rainbow orbs that give you a random punch power. As for Power Slam, that's been answered multiple times by now in the thread.
This took me forever to grasp as well. I assume you'll need the Power Slam skill equipped and if you hit the Upper Cut button again while in mid flight, you'll slam down!
thank you my kind sir! you just tripled my enjoyment! then again, it follows my device's orientation lock. i usually lock it at portrait orientation (iPhone)... wish there's still an option to force it in the next update...
