Also would like to know if it's safe to "rebuy" the coin doubler on my iPhone (same iTunes account) in order to get the coin doubler there too (i.e. without paying twice).

 

Kepa or madgarden said a few pages ago that the coin doubler is a one time purchase type of IAP, not consumable, so it should work. I'm still pre-update, as I don't want to risk the crash, and to take advantage of buying things before the prices go up.

It's harder than syncing items. Items are just YES YOU HAVE THE ITEM. Also, having different amounts of money on different devices opens things up for potential exploits.

Yeah, as long as the person who's using rotation lock isn't expecting it to stay in portrait.

 

iCloud-Sync also not working for me.

It always says "0 items" - i have same account on both devices, punch quest is in backup, i tried logging out of iCloud, reinstall punch quest...nothing helped. I never had this problem with other games so far.

Does it matter that my iPad still has iOS 5 and my iPhone has iOS 6?

btw got my first ultra hat with a power 1 skill today

 

quickfinga, I have synced items from an iOS5 device to an iOS6 device, so it's doubtful that this is the reason. Not sure why some are having troubles, but I will keep an eye out for a fix.

PUNCHOS DOUBLER should sync across iCloud like all of the other items. But yes, it's also safe to re-buy it and you won't get charged.

I dont know what I did, but after watching a gnome go into heaven I got awarded with a hat: Angelic W. Spangenhelm of BUBBLING "Blessed by the gnome gods, fun for the whole family" (helmet that throws bubbles)

Yeah. That's what usually happens when you deify a gnome. He ascends into the heavens and awards you an ultra hat for helping him reach goodhood.

@Mr. Madgarden: Wasn't it this update where all gnomes would have a cap of 50? Or will that be in the next one? I might have misread.

Or to make up for that we have 1000,1500 and 2000 XP missions now?

 

I can't verify this, because I haven't been able to see the new content yet (crash bug), but I think the higher numbers are from the Puncho doubler. Do the missions seem to level up your gnomes faster as well?

I believe the level 50 cap is intended to go along with the new gem currency, whenever that's added. I think it's the next update.

 

That's what's confusing me. The way I understood from Kepa is that coin doubler does exactly that, doubles coins.

But the description says it doubles everything, even from gnomey. And I've been seeing 2000 XP missions for seemingly medium to easy tasks like "defeat 25 hallucinations".

So I can't say for sure if it's a bug or just working as intended, that the doubler works for XP as well.
