You can blame me I guess, since this is a Madgarden + Rocketcat Games game, not a pure Hook * etc. game. Hmm, looking into it...
We're probably going to do another endless runner. Did you not like Hook Worlds, either? Though, next game Rocketcat does will have randomly generated levels with an end. It's the Mage Gauntlet follow-up, the one with multiple player classes. PUNCH QUEST UPDATE NEWS Bugfix update coming soon. Has some other stuff in it, too. - Lots of bugfixes. The most horrendous one is probably the crash on sleep button reverting your last save. - Price adjustments to the store. Mid tier items get 20% more expensive. Higher tier powers (there's 7 of them) get about double in price. This still isn't that much. - The IAP punchos packs will give more coins now. In exchange, the Madgarden and Rocketcat hats will no longer be available. They'll be exclusive to those early buyers. - Adding a $2.99 coin doubler (doubles the amount of coins you get). Adding a 99 cent tip jar. Adding new bonus items for making any IAP purchase. - New hat-themed upgrades, unlocked if you have a lot of hats purchased. - Discocut works on electric squids now. - Various other tweaks and requests. Pet update is the one after this one. Pets, a new currency, daily quests, probably some new powers to get, maybe some other mystery fancy new feature.
If you don't buy the Madgarden/Rocketcat hats before you install the update, you will no longer be able to get them.
I suppose that means I won't get them on a re-roll either, huh? Maybe in a distant future update (if you want), an option to imbue a hat with power? 100,000 punchos to add a skill? Also don't apologize sir, you can't please every single user. And thanks to both of you for listening to feedback and working so hard.
What about getting more gnome lvl experience for exceeding the quest credentials? Like for example: punching 3 imp sacks and you punch like 12 in one run. It'd be cool to get more lvl experience for over achieving. Just a thought! Huge fan/Addict by the way
Gnomey's on a tight godhood ascension schedule, and abhors inefficiency. He needs a specific set of punch quests completed, and he needs them NOW, mister. He can see through your attempts to over-achieve on the easy quests just to procrastinate and delay the harder ones, and he's NOT BUYING IT. And, glad you like! Eoghann, if you already have a special hat unlocked it will be available for an ultrahat re-roll. As will the new mystery items. But alas, I have said too much already.
Remember, remember the 5th of November. As I sit here in London playing Punch Quest with random fireworks going off at random intervals, I thought I'd make the suggestion that the Guy Fawlkes mask should be free today! Spoiler Ok, probably too late for that. #Next year!
Cool idea... I wish it was possible to do that from here, but it's unfortunately stuck behind a wall of moustachios.
Ah, this irrefutable desire for the exclusive and time-limited... which IAP package do I need to purchase to snag both developer hats?
Quick question, so if I purchase one or both of the special hats via IAP, are they any different than the hats you get from leveling up the gnome?
Well they're not ultrahats, but once they have been unlocked via purchase they may appear as bases for ultrahat generation.
Since that reply specifically does NOT answer my question , I have to venture into the untamed cognitive wilds of deduction, but does that mean that any two purchases will give me both?
