My sparkly ultra gnome hat (forgot what it was called) was replaced with a sedge hat of smoke. It made me sad cus that gnome hat was bangin'! Know you guys are on it tho. Will stick with the rocketcat hat until the update. Awesome job rocketcat and madgarden. Game is my fave!
Can you give more details on how this occurred? Did it revert to an ultra prize at any point? Did it happen after you loaded the app up, or during a single session?
So i used the gnome hat (ultra prize one) for a while after earning it. I closed out of the game for a while and when I reopened it I got the green box telling me I had an ultra prize waiting again and had to unlock the prize once more. So yeah, happened after I loaded the app back up.
OK, that helps thanks... so basically, it just didn't save your ultra hat, and the app crashed to home screen when you put it to sleep (a known bug fixed in the next update). When you started it up again, it awarded you the ultra prize again since it hadn't saved the last time. Good stuff.
Not for this next "1.5" emergency update, no. They'll be around after that. Some vital bug fixes (like timmis6010's ultrahat problem, the 0 score bug), improved visibility for the IAP, some non-PUNCHOS IAP and related MYSTERY content, a new leaderboard, and some other stuff.
Just wanted to add my save snafu to the list so ya can hopefully track down the bug. I lvld up gnomey last night got a smoking top hat, and had enough punchos for a reroll so did that aswell. Afterwards i spent a few min customizing then did another run. I had to sleep the phone mid run then when i came back to it, i had an ultra hat notification and the same amount of punchos before i had rerolled. Bad news: lost the smokin top hat. Good news: got to try another reroll for a power 1 hat. Bad news: didnt get the power 1 hat. Anyway tried to replicate, but everything saved just fine the second time around. Sorry about the txt wall, silly paragraphs. Great game, hope everyone buys iap so you all can swim in the money.
Yes, this is actually the exact same case... sorry about that. Sleep won't cause that after this next update, and we'll be extra diligent to make sure stuff gets saved just in case.
Pffft....No worries. I figure it was a bit of bad luck, and next reroll ill get a hat with flying fists or hungry man on it I just hope you and kepa make another game together. Sword of faragoal, and mage gauntlet are two games i would never delete. I think punch quest may have me more addicted than either of those.
I've experienced that too.. you complete quests, level up the gnome then put the phone to sleep mid game.. unlock the phone and it resets the quests/level of gnome to what it was before
I have terrible luck. My first two ultra hats were both Basic Doc Reflectors.....one glowing and one flaming......(slowly puts barrel in mouth).....goes for the re-roll and...... Spikey C. Spangenhelm of BUBBLING! Mean and Bubbly, no tier 1 skill but dude, this game is ridiculous. I think it might be my favorite iOS game ever. I'm not going to stop anytime soon. I also would really go for a coin doubler or some other kind of distinctive IAP though.
Hi, Will the next update fix all the issues? Bought the game (wanted this game since its first screenshot/video) but haven't played it yet because I read there are issues. Wonder if I should wait for the "big Pets update" to start to play the game? Just curious.
You're not playing this game because of some "issues"? Just to make sure I understand what you wrote. This is a fantastic game and I don't know what issues you mean?! Just play it, where's the problem?
