Same here but instead of getting my score switched out with a lower one, GC just wipes my score and max combo from their list. MadGarden has been really receptive, though. I just hope this issue can be resolved for us.
I have not seen the matrix yetÂ… So far I'm pretty low on the scoreboards, not sure what I'm missing but still playing.
One of the keys, I think, is to make sure you don't ignore the seemingly less dangerous floating enemies like bats and squids. They often poke you, you shrug it off and keep punching, but it adds up quick to cut your run short. Also, plan ahead when you see a spike ledge with enemies around, so you don't get wedged up against it.
I have not connected my device to iTunes nor did I mess around with any settings. I normally launched the app and started a game, then right away noticed my character's appearance was defaulted, among all the other things. Wish I could provide some more info, but that's really all there was to it.
Its the magic casters (especially the glowy hands ones) that do me in, almost exclusively. Any tips or just 'play better'.
OK thanks... well that's suspect enough, sounds like a corrupted/altered file. Will look into it. Also, if you lost a lot of punchos, email support from the options screen and we'll take care of you. Blackharon... jump early, dash over top of them, SLAM PUNCH.
About the skull boss, when do I know when to uppercut him and punch his chin upwards? Sometimes I try and i get hurt with nothing happening. Also, can you add more "egg" levels? The two bee and dinosaur levels can get boring after playing them over and over again xD.
I haven't read every page of this thread, but I think I found a weird Easter egg and I'm not sure whether or not it's common: Spoiler When I started one game that were a ton of UFOs in the background and I didn't know what was going on. Once I got to the second section they disappeared. I've only gotten this once and I have no idea whether I did anything to make it happen.
Jordanrracer, you have to make sure you land a SOLID punch on the skull. That means you get in deep and nail him for maximum power, rather than a sort of grazing hit. You can tell the different between a SOLID hit and a GRAZE hit by the colour of the flash when your punch lands... the solid hits are red, the grazes are yellow. So, likely if you land a grazing hit on the skeleton it you'll be floating there by his choppers and he'll bite you. And yeah, we have plans for more eggs, not to worry.
This may have all been covered in here before. Great game, wonderful game, bad UI. Unsure on how to activate superpowers one + two. Not sure if it's automatic of if you need to hit one of those tiny little squares at the bottom to activate them? Also not sure if The gold silver or bronze punchos mean anything at the top As it seems they change color randomly? There's not really any indicators, of anything pertaining to the user interface. Like I get it, it's a unique endless runner with some really really cool Ideas but there's no Communication between what is happening on screen and what the user needs to do. This post is not really a complaint because this game is addicting as hell and fun. But truly, I'm usually pretty good with interfaces and I don't understand the systems that are in place in this game, any enlightenment is appreciated.
As far as the power-ups go, the first and second powerups are passive and are automatically activated as soon as their section of the lower bar fills up. If the bar dips back down below the threshold (energy lost due to blocking a hit) the power doesn't function until the meter fills back up the required amount. For the third tier (the super), it activates as soon as the bar is completely full, at which point it begins to drain until the super stops when the third segment is empty.
Like he said. The only thing you have to tap are the two icons (the uppercut and dash punch) in the bottom left and right. About the coins: Each coin color (I believe) is tied to a different value. And the coin counter in the top right displays the last color coin you collected.
Thanks! thetrackt: Thanks for input. If I was to do it all over (or maybe in a followup game), I'd take stuff out of the menu and put it into the rest of the game. Example: What if you found different supermoves in the dungeon itself, and equipped them in the game instead of in a menu. Ben: We want to put in more super rare easter eggs like that!
Thanks, unfortunately I don't remember how much Punchos I had - I'm more bummed about my gnome level which was around 40, but it's fine, at least I wasn't at 99! One thing I just recalled: my device battery died during play once, would that be a reason maybe? Cheers!
Hard to say for sure, I suppose a partial save of your settings would cause that, but I don't know if this is typical behaviour for iDevices.
I've just reached the sixth gnome Spoiler (or the fifth, plus one artsy metaphor) , and I have to say that while I have grown to expect strange things from this game, learning about Spoiler marine biology from a gnome still took me by surprise. Especially since it's actually a logical progression from previous gnomes, under certain definitions of "logic." The fifth gnome rewarded me with Narwhal Goblin Ears of SPARKLING, in case anyone was wondering.
