Any advice on how to accomplish the 50 hit combo? I have the tier one special ability equipped that adds monsters to fight, but I'm only up to 47. Also, the big dash 50 hitter will be even tougher.
Oh I thought those red paths meant harder difficulty paths so I avoided them for now lol thanks! What I do is punch at a steady rhythm while pushing the skeletons so that their head hits the next enemy, continuing the combo. On top of doing that I hit candles along with bats and such and landing with a slam attack. So far I managed to pull a 103 hit combo that way.
The right super move might help... Hyper Fighting is a good one for this, also Knuckle Circle. There are other tricks as well such as using the skull piles to do a spray of Steambuster skulls that hit enemies a bunch. What do you mean, where is the empty space? How many idols do you have?
Thanks. I actually just achieved it, paused the game to check on my son, and when I came back to the game, it reset! Ugh.
Review from IGN. Got a Spoiler 9.3, congrats. (figured it would be best to spoiler the score, because Kepa talked about waiting for the reviews from everywhere before posting them.)
i only have 25 so far but theres a very large gap between the bronze idols and the number. Are there any idols other than bronze, silver, gold, diamond?
JamesT, sorry about that reset, I *just* fixed that issue, will be submitted in update #2. Werebite870, yeah OK... I am actually going to put some more idol-specific text in there, I just didn't get around to it yet... mainly because it has to fit in both portrait and landscape modes.
Just found a glitch: after you finish a game, if you visit the Lootatorium the "last game's stats" disappear.
No worries, I will get it eventually. My only frustration is that I keep getting up to 47 or so, and I don't get to 50 simply because there's nothing else to hit. I don't want my achievements to be limited by availability of enemies and other things to hit, just by my skill.
Makes sense, might i also ask why there has to be so damn many idols to collect? Its like its your goal to make me flunk out of high school this year
Don't want to sound like I'm complaining... Love this game. I just did use 5 supers in one game twice, using knuckle circle, and both times it only gave me 4/5. I had 6/5 the first time and 7/5 the second time, and I viewed those by pausing the game to check.
I'm dumb. Figured it out... Wow that was. Sad (on my end) Also; I'd love an option to pay for a doubler like in JJ, it was perfect and I felt like I was getting more than spending money on the in game currency. LOVE THIS FREAKING GAME OMG 5000/5
I got 50 and Big Dash 50 at the same time and quite unintentionally. There are a few tricks you can use like timing your punches instead of mashing the button so that you'll travel further and faster and hopefully not run out of enemies. Also keep an eye out for enemies whose heads you can knock off as they'll keep the combo going if they hit another enemy. Torches keep combos alive too, not sure about vases.
Thanks. Equipping Big Dash actually was helpful for me as well. Extending my range with it made my combos longer and more effective and I got it as well. I have to give the devs credit... This game is deeper than it first seems.
Hey is the achievement that says to block before spikes and then let go work properly... I've tried like 8 or 9 times now to no avail.
As long as the new quests keep spawning and the prices aren't outta control, I could see myself getting so addicted to this game that it will play out like JJ did for me; that is, I'll play it so much I'll unlock everything on my own.
