I think I'm experiencing a bug with Idolizer. I mean, I'm pretty sure. I bought it and equipped it, and it works great, like I imagined. Then I equipped a different Tier 1 power to satisfy one of Gnomey's quests... and noticed that idols still appeared everywhere, as if I had Idolizer equipped still. I thought to myself, "Huh, maybe I just got super lucky in this run and it's an abnormal coincidence!" Dozens of runs later, having switched my Tier 1 several times (And having never re-equipped Idolizer), it can't be a coincidence that idols are STILL cropping up like crazy in every run. They could not be appearing more if they wanted to, which means that there's no point in equipping Idolizer again. Which is GREAT for me -- but I'm thinking it can't be intentional?
I was gonna say that the Idol perk was doing the complete opposite for me. After several runs I had stumbled into less idols than without the perk. I killed the app and relaunched it. Ran into 7 idols in my first run.
The costume slot update is out! Also, I just made a >200hit combo. Without an Ultra hat or belt. While talking to my friends. In Portrait Mode (so that they thought I was texting). Gnome God sure works in an odd way.
You do? I must have been mouthy Hmm, only 2 male slots and 2 female slots. Have to say I did not expect it to be so low (was thinking 10 or maybe unlimited slots). Why the limit guys?
I don't know why there are "only" two wardrobe slots per character, but I think it's a pretty great addition and I like the price point as well (50k Punchos, if I remember right). As far as I know, they're still planning on adding characters to PQ; my guess is that they don't want to overwhelm the character screen with slot options right away, but would rather implement a low-ish slot selection to gauge the interest in the feature first. I don't have a problem with two slots per character; it's far superior to "one slot, total" and I don't think I need any more -- not until I have raised the Punchos to unlock a lot of belts, anyway. One thing in the new update confuses me: Why are the character names tappable? "Smashkyrie" and "Punchzerker" contract when you tap them, as if they do something. But there doesn't seem to be any actual effect. So, why are they buttons?
Oh, everything is a button. EVERYTHING. I just forgot to make those non-clickable. Enjoy the clicking. And more slots can easily be added, if there is interest. Just testing the waters.
Woohoo! I've been specifically trying to do this over the last two days and finally just got over the line with a 207 hit combo! And I managed it with an all new setup, thanks to the recent wardrobe update. I'm super stoked with that, the next goal is a 500,000+ points run...
I've unlocked 3 Ultra Hats so far and all three came "With FREE Quick Slam". Give me a fricking break.....
I am... pretty mad I think? I have rerolled ultra hats at least 41 times now, spending more than 3.5 million punchos on it. (mix of 100k and 75k rolls). I wanted a hat with one of two power I skills on it, that is all I wanted. Please could we have some form of weighted randomization or something? I feel sad that I spent hours and hours grinding hoping to get such hat, and every two days being faced with disappointment.
Yes sorry, I think this is something that we will fix in the next update. It's just completely random right now, and should instead have some sort of weighting so as to not overlap existing hats too easily.
What do you mean? You haven't gotten a wanted Power I hat yet? I get different powers now and then, you just need patience I think. Or you cannot get a hat with extra Power? You need to install the latest version to reroll hats that come with free Power I. I have to ask, did the devs tweak uppercutting and slamming? Their reach seems to be tad lower and they also feel slower, this is especially noticable when I use Drillin Punch. Or maybe the enemies fly higher now?
