The funny thing is that you don't have to press retry. If you want, you can play the game normally with the stats/quests/scores screen overlapping the actual game. It's pretty neat to try for one or two rounds, but I can't say I'll be sorry to see it fixed
well as I understand after hitting buy, there should open a window promoting to enter apple ID and password to complete the purchase, but nothing happens. I managed to buy doubler a week ago successfully, but now it doesn't work. Oh well if it's just me I guess will have to grind it out.
Someone said something about hungry man earlier and I think they're right. Just played a 12 minute game minimum and didn't get a single food. haha
The little animation at the beginning, where the gnome points at the rocketcat and laughs...did you guys take it out? After the update it's just a black screen and after a while it just loads up into the main menu.
Unlocked spartan mode the other day and played it a number of times. I really like the idea, but I have one major issue with it - the one space stairs leading up (attached image). Every time I get to those I lose 2 hearts at least. 90% of my deaths are at those spots. Any chance of making those steps longer? Also I've noticed that if you uppercut where there's both an enemy and an item (like a slab or mask), the enemy will be hit but not the item. Not such a huge deal in quest mode but is a big deal in spartan mode when you miss slabs. Is this a bug or by design? Seems like a bug to me.
The one space stairs make me want to throw my ipad out of the window and never look at it again. They are really hard to get by unharmed. I have a question about the coins awarded at the end of each spartan game are they already doubled? Thanks.
Kepa said on Twitter yesterday that they will be submitting a fix for this. Awesome, cause I lose at least two hearts here each time as well.
Aaaah yeah sorry, there are not supposed to be ANY spike ledges in Spartan mode... spikes got turned on by accident, heh. Already fixed for next quick bugfix update which should be submitted tonight. Hopefully it just takes 3 days to get approved again! As for the hits... you punch one thing, your punch goes cold. Punch again.
Is it possible to get the friends scores changed to their highest spartan mode score after a spartan game? Right now the quest mode high scores show after a spartan game.
Aaaaaahhhh just got my first pure idol! So anticlimactic. D: May I suggest fireworks or something for when you actually get a pure idol? And maybe an aura of awesomeness around the pure idols themselves in the collection screen. I know I'm being superficial, I just want more flashiness.
I just picked up the game again after a long hiatus, but i played a ton before. It looks like I had a lot of lost data including Gnome progress and punchos. Anyone experience this?
Hat of sacrifice just gives you 1 more heart essentially? Is so that won't help much. The difficulty spike is so high I often loose 2 hearts very fast once i am above level 12.
I haven't recieved any ultra-hats yet. Dear community of Punch Quest. I have recently downloaded the game "Punch Quest", and couldn't stop playing ever since. Ever since I became aware of the existance of Ultrahats and their powers, it is my quest to retrieve one. Alas, my quest has led me to wander the Internet in search of how to find one, and I had understood that one can retrieve such Ultrahat by turning any of the gnomes, say, gnomey, bnomey and so on, into a god by levelling it up 50 times. Now this is why I made my account on this forum. I have turned Gnomey into a god 3 times now and haven't retrieved a single Ultrahat. Am I missing something here? Am I doing it wrong? Please, enlight me on how to retrieve an Ultrahat. Regards, Toby van Kempen. [EDIT: What really grinds my gears is that the last gnome said "help me out and get a hat!"]
^ When the game was originally released, deifying gnomes gave you one ultra hat per ascension. Now they give you punchos, and you can buy ultra hats from the "Ultra Items" tab in the "Customize" section of the shop.
