I want to buy this game but does it run great on a ipad 2? if not ill buy the steam version I just prefer a version on the go but not if it hinders my experience.
It ran ok on mine. I think the bugs (randomly losing money, quests getting hung up etc) were part of the game itself
Don't understand all the complaints of game being too difficult. About 6 hours in and have all workout equipments and steady money flow. Having a blast.
Any planned updates for mor content? And also why no character customization? Fighting ninjas and me only wearing shorts is lame.
Sorry for beatin a dead horse and all but I want to like this game, really. It has a lot I like about gaming on iOS. But the rolls involved in fighting....I guess I don't understand. Why am I losing to fighters when my stats are so much higher? eg when I'm 4-10-10 why am I getting wrecked by a fighter with 2-5-4??? Especially when I'm using low energy moves and using defensive buffs
Got in that same routine for a bit. You have to keep fighting everyday. The stats aren't that important early on. If you lose, immediately sign back up for a fight, go train for a day and work and rest the other then fight again. Rinse and repeat.
Well I've slogged through all the inconsistencies (contrary to my stopped playing post) and gotten into a groove. Stats at 4-12-8 and having some *gasp* success fighting. Way of the Tiger path seems to help with having high agility. Pro Tip: focus on agility and stamina. Anyone have a tip on dealing with Bill Davis and his mimic ability that deals damage back to you when you attack him?
Because u put the wrong skills! You just need an attack skill either punch or kick.. The rest are your dodges counterattack and whatsnot.. In no time you will be winning fights. Also are you high on happiness and stamina when u fight? I am not sure of it affects fights but since it affects training then just go ahead make sure they are at least 3/4 full
Silly question - if my iPad is sitting in a stand on a night stand or arm rest, can the game be controlled primarily with one hand? I've got a newborn at home, and games I can control with one hand are pretty much my bread and butter right now. Thanks for any input!
When I had only 3 slots and agility is my main, I had dodge for defense and 2 punches- simple and a heavier punch.
Ya it's a great game. Can be grueling at times but with all the does and don't compiled in this thread you will find it a very rewarding experience. Couldn't tell u the last time I put in a 6 hr session on a mobile game, but I did yesterday. Eyes were on fire. Lol
Guys when u guys do the professional league remember to finish ALL your side quests before meeting Don.. Once that event triggered u can't go back.. $&))&&)!!
Yeah I missed out on the bloody championship. Sucks This could really use some random encounters opening up more optional side missions. Would really help the repetetiveness I'm feeling so far, I'm apart abou day 200 and some change. All I do is train and do movie shoots and keep fighting ninjas over and over haha. Let's hope somethings things open up here for me. Also trying to defeat Kulk Kogan is a pain. lol Last thing any chance of multiplayer? Have different classes and tournaments depending on your stats to keep it balanced? That would def prolong the game.
