Totally disagree, its a great 'run n gun' game. If it was purely for kids i wouldnt be interested but its a very good game. Shame you didnt give it a proper chance
So, character animations are atrocious... Also the character itself looks muddied & very unclear. How is this metal optimized?
This is just a brilliant game all around. I went in expecting absolutely nothing and left paying the $4.99 for the Founder's Pack and another $3.99 for the Master/Doubler pack thingi. This is freemium done PERFECTLY. Giving people various options to choose from is the way to go. If you don't feel like you don't need something...then don't buy it. Totally commend the developers and Disney for going this way. Other than that? It blows my mind that there are so many bloody levels. These aren't bite-sized levels. There's a fair bit of exploring to do and they do take more than a few minutes each. There's a ton of variety, the challenges keep everything fresh, messing around with the Haven is a great time waster, you can collect droid parts, so on and so forth. There's absolutely no shortage of things to do in this 700 MB package. Oh, and the animations are perfectly fine. You just don't know that till you see the lightsaber stuff. Great game. Can't recommend it enough.
Just left a glowing review in the app store. If you feel the same way i suggest you do the same, need games like this to do well !
This game is done perfectly IMO. If it was another F2P game, I most likely wouldn't have spent a dime on it and just dealt with the timers or whatever and played until I hit a paywall and deleted, but how they did this game, they ended up getting almost 10 bucks from me. I don't know which pay system they would profit from more, but personally I like this one. I think I would have felt dirty if I dropped that much on IAPs for timer extensions or energy or whatever if it was the "usual" F2P schenanigans. This way I feel clean and untainted. Lol
I think it's older devices. I'm playing on an iPhone 5 and it looks pretty crappy, but the game itself is awesome.
Damn. I bought the foundation pack and the double coins and half way through the 3rd mission the game began to stutter then froze. I'm using an IPad Air.
iPad Air 2, 64GB. I figured the game would look at least a bit better. So much aliasing & pixels! But I digress, I'm very happy to hear people are enjoying the game & I stand to say the pay model is a great take on freemium.
Has anyone noticed when ur at the Haven, if you overlap another character with Ezra and then tap the chat box, he does a little half moonwalk to back up Lol I agree with the positive points about this game. Having a blast with this.
I'm playing on the air 2 and I don't think it looks all that great either - character animations feel a bit jerky to me and I've seen some slowdown which I didn't expect. Really enjoying it so far despite that tho Also - just to be clear, if I buy the Master pack that gets me everything? Presumably you need hope for other stuff hence the doubler, but if I buy the Master pack that essentially is a full game unlock?
Yes, the Master pack is your "unlock all" option. The only thing it doesn't do is give you all the skills that Kanan and Sabine can earn by playing (there is an IAP to open them up immediately). But by playing the game, you'll unlock all the abilities progressively.
Brilliant thanks. I just bought the founder pack which was the same price so hopefully I got the same thing with that!
Hopefully one day she will be. That would make my week. And I guess I should say here that I'm enjoying this game very much. Pretty good controls, very nice graphics, and it does a great job of putting you into the Star Wars mood. Well done, devs!
Description says there is Game Center but there isn't any, at least in the demo. Do you get Game Center in the full, paid version?
Earlier in the thread, someone talked about controller support. I spent awhile trying to make my controller work, with no luck. Does this game use controller support? I feel like it really needs it. Happy gaming!
