Ha i swear i thought of He-Man as well. The shooting works well in this one also with the different angles. Game of the week for me. Come a long way since crappy pit droids puzzle novelty apps on iOS
Thanks for the kind words so far. My team made this title so happy to tell you what I can about it. Will also take feedback and criticism as we have loads of content updates planned.
Welcome to the site. The games great so far, i thought it would be freemium hell but its not, plays very well, great graphics, looking forward to playing more and more of this Hope you guys get more work from Disney, best original iOS Star Wars game i've played. Clever move from Disney, get someone whos already done a great 'run n gun' style platformer like He Man and develop a star wars style version of it. Good move ! Good to use companies who know how to do it right !
Funny, i only can play 4 levels before i get asked to unlock the rest. I only can't 3-star the 4th level, because i don't find any. Did you? Welcome Devs! While i think that here is lots of room to improve your game, setting me in the perfect Star Wars mood made me spend the five bucks easily. Thanks! Please consider to let us customize the jump button and even a language setting as an option. Shorter loading times would also be appreciated. Good luck and may the force... Edit: just in case...after i restarted the game (did a re-boot after unlocking) i still was asked to buy the game, ohoh. Go to option and synchronise the buy, that helped. Game on.
Ya we are looking at an alternate control scheme for the first major and I agree customizable controls is important so noted. On Language we shipped with 10 languages which are set by the operating system of the device we are running on. We will continue to add more languages with every major update. The syncro bug you noted we also are tracking. Hoping to get a fix out for that today or tomorrow. Glad you found the work around.
I wish i could swap the shoot and jump buttons around. Im so used to the jump button on the right side and the action buttons on its left.
yeah we need better graphics the graphics are too fuzzy mate, better in HD the ipad air can take it mate.
LOL, now that you said it, i want/used the same. Just touch anywhere on the right side of the screen to jump (no button needed) and let us adjust the shoot button ourselves. Problem solved.
I was just coming back to mention how similar this is to the X-Men Days of Future Past game. Is it the same developer? That game was so well done, but this is even better. Production value through the roof. I bought the master pack of levels and characters and then also the master boost unlock. Total of around $10 with tax probably. The only downfall is that this one is burning up my phone! But doesn't matter. It's so good!
Honestly, I found KOTOR to feel klunky and dated. I'm excited to try this game later today. The TV series is surprisingly good. Excellent surprise ending for the season finally.
That's TA user scores.....and from the looks of it, whoever ding'd the game was so awesome they couldn't even post in the thread (Troll!) Not seeing any App Store reviews yet. It's a solid 4* ...as said, the mechanics are very similar to X-Men Days of Future Past. I had no problem dropping a five to get all the characters and levels. It's pretty well done.
Oh,i didn't watched the videos before (well,i expected it's"meh"because disney milking the licence now...)but it sure looks fun.Any sign of controller support?
It's not bad but a far more immersive experience with a controller. I think for those with gamepads its a great game but it suffers the same problem as most games like this with touch controls. I just couldn't get used to the controls enough to enjoy this game. You really need a controller to thoroughly enjoy this.
This has got to be my favorite Staw Wars game on iOS (next to KOTOR). It's so well done. I'm not having any issues with controls at all. One thing I did notice is that the graphics seem sort of fuzzy. Maybe because I'm playing on an older device? (IPhone 5) Besides that, this is a gem.
I'm almost excited to be playing a new Star Wars game, that's such an odd sensation! Cheers for the great impressions guys, this is one I'm saving for the weekend.
It's nice to set the default language from the OS but it's nice to be able to set the language from within the game. The OS is not in my mother tongue but it's easier for me to play the game in my mother tongue without having to almost reboot the phone(That's the only thing Android does better: switching languages is blazing fast) Please consider an option to switch from within the game(I understand it's not a priority though haha)
