Did anyone else have major crashing problems with the lite version of the game? It's been a while, but I was really excited to pick this up, tried the lite version first, and found it to crash almost every other battle, so I gave up on it. Now that Chapter 3 is out I've been thinking about it again...
Hmm...does anyone else want to chime in? I don't feel like dropping $5 to upgrade the lite version unless I know it's stable.
That's what I was thinking. At this point I just want to get the most stable version. The comment above about the free version is making me hesitant.
I went ahead and made the purchase......here goes nothing. I'm really pumped. Any idea how long all three chapters are? I've heard 50+ hours.
I wish I knew what version I had on - the free version has probably been patched (at least once, to add the DLC) since then. Anyone else that went the Free + DLC route want to chime in? As it is, I'll probably cave as soon as EAMobile decides to send me the gift card they owe me...
The free version was patched a few weeks ago with the in app purchases. Honestly even if it crashes a little here and there, getting this all for $5 is pretty amazing. I know a lot of people who played PQ on the DS and paid at least $30-40 and felt it was worth every penny.
Not problem with the lite version upgraded to full version with 3 chapters. I play it almost daily with no crash whatsoever. I believe this is the cheapest way to go, and yes, the logo kind of sucks because it says "lite". Maybe an upgrade will take care of this...
Not questioning the value at all, it's a bargain for $5. My problem was that the game would crash about every other battle, right from the start. Thanks for chiming in. I don't really care about the icon as I usually launch apps from search anyway (penalty for having 500+ apps on my iPod)
I went this route and have yet to experience a crash. I'm using a 1st gen. touch if it makes any difference...
I downloaded the lite version a couple of weeks ago and bought the full version as an in app purchase. I have a 3G Itouch and have not experienced any crashing. I will admit that having the lite or free icon bugs me for some reason. I asked if there will be a future upgrade to deal with this problem and the developer said nothing was in the works.
It did take them almost 2 years to get the full game to us and the original release was horrible apparently. I guess we should just be happy to have the full game and it seems to be stable.
Oh wow I didn't know puzzle quest was out on iPhone! I played this game way to much on XBLA. There goes my weekend!
Hey guys, I bought chapter 3 as a DLC for PuzzleQuest 1&2 on a idevice. If I install puzzlequest in another device, will I be able to download the DLC for free on the other device as well?
I think you might if you log into the same itunes account, but i'm not 100% sure. Can someone else confirm?
