D3 is working on PQ2.... PQ 1 for the ipod is actually being handled by someone else. Although they have a standard reply, the reply still states that they are working on 3.
Then someone needs to keep emailing the same address until they get a suitable response and not just the standard template.
I recently picked this back up to play on the go. When it was released I was quite forgiving of the issues that it had, but now I'm finding it harder to ignore them. I think it's due to the glut of good games we now have compared to the selection when it was released. The main menu lags. When you spend your character points you have to really tap and tap and tap to get it to register. The sound randomly comes back on when you have the mute switch flipped. It lags when a lot of gems are cleared. I could go on, but it's really disheartening to see such a fun game so flawed. It IS playable and you CAN have fun, but it can be frustrating while doing so. Not a quality I like to see.
Went to the linked site (d3 publisher) within this thread and seen there isn't even a listing for iphone/touch in the drop down window under select platform. Maybe I'll have to get/try it on a PSP, DS or something to really get the gaming experience for PQ........really wanted to play it....... but as a complete game. (Still want to try "Wipeout" on PSP......one day!)
You know, you're right. I had forgotten about a lot of those issues. I guess it's kind of like when you think back to your relationship with an old girlfriend that you miss. Or maybe it's nothing like that at all. Either way, I still wish they would release Chapter friggin' 3.
Sorry Transgaming... While I have appreciated how quickly Transgaming gets back to me to tell me they can't tell me anything, I would much prefer a more responsive company (who takes their customer base a bit more seriously) to handle PQ2. Transgaming definitely seems more interested in the Mac market at this point. Why put much effort into a $2 expansion when a $50 semi-new AAA release can be put out for the Mac instead. I know where, in this economy, I'd prefer my manpower go, were it my company.
FYI "Hi ####, Thanks for your email. The reason that other inquiries have not received an anticipated release date is because we are not able to comment on release dates of games that have not already been announced. This is a standard practice in the gaming industry (and more broadly speaking, in most industries). We understand that our customers are eager to complete the PuzzleQuest series on their iPhones/iPods, and we genuinely do want to release Chapter 3 as soon as we can. For the reasons stated above I am regrettably not able to comment on when that will be. Best regards, #### TransGaming Staff www.transgaming.com
Darn. Ya beat me to it by seconds, apparently. I was going to end my post with: "In related news, Hell has frozen over."
Why don't they just release all chapters at once so we can get the full experience, instead of waiting for others ?
So we actually have a complete game now? This is wonderful. i'm not fond of paying again, but still, I'm glad.
wow. im impressed. i had thought my favorite game was massacared by transgaming. hope it works ok.....
I'm re-downloading (realized I should have been patient, bye bye saved data ) can anyone comment on all what is included in the update? Bux fixes, more character classes, etc... @lacedolphin my apologies. Very looooooong anticipated update I, like a lot of other people have been waiting on. Thanks.
