Yep...that is exactly right. Make sure that you read every direction because it assumes you did. When you go into your settings, just uncheck Darkhunter. Problem solved.
Epic post deb. How does this relate to PQ? Oh, and thanks for the bump. I forgot I owned this game. Back to playing it.
Uhm... that's one of the rats from the game and one of the characters from the game... playing the game...
cool I heard about a kraken in the background and think that would be cool. Thanks for postponing the update to make sure everything is in place or fixing things up. I know you always think of your customers when it comes to updates. Keep up the good work!
Just noticed that Chapter 1 got released today (by itself) at $2.99, as opposed to the 1 + 2 set that's more expensive. Anyone know why? And are they going to release chapter two at a similar price? At $2.99 each I'll happily by all 3 chapters, but was wondering what the deal is.
In the UK store, Chap 1 is £1.89, and Chap 1+2 is £4.99. The company's twitter says they are releasing both separately. So I can get both separately cheaper than the bundle back of 1 + 2.
Question about the Game Hi. I am looking for a new Match-3 game, and I thought I might give this on a second try. The first time I played the demo, I got bored with all of the RPG elements. Now, I only gave it a few minutes, because at the time, I had a bunch of other new Match-3s to play. So, can someone who has played this give me an idea as to what the game breakdown is? Is it half RPG? A third? How much Match-3 is it really? Does it bring anything new to the match-3 genre, or is it mostly a RPG? Thanks, Michael
I'm unsure as to the exact percentage of match-3 it is (is it really a decision making difference if it's a half or a third?) but the game revolves around it. You are in a fantasy world and you travel from kingdom to kingdom doing 'quests'. Most quests have you rid of something, and these quests are part of a giant picture. So when NPC A tells you to there's a spider problem in Kingdom XYZ, expect to dual it out with some spiders in engaging match-3 combat. The RPG comes in to play here, throughout battles, you will earn XP by matching certains gems, and eventually will be able to learn new skills to use in battle. The point of each battle is to get the health down of your opponent by matching skulls and using skills. This is the main draw of the game. Since that is the case, you have to plan ahead and make smart moves. There is a bit of luck rolled in because you never know what gem is going to fall down next.
It's an awesome game. It's an RPG but instead of fighting like in a hand to hand combat, you fight via puzzles, where doing match-3s will give you mana for your spells or do damage to the opponent. It brings new things to the match-3 genre when you have to capture mounts/enemies or research skills, they're pretty challenging. I would recommend it if you like a good, solid RPG with Puzzle Elements. Not to mention, it's incredibly cheap for both chapters.
Not if its a half or a third, but if you had said 10% RPG, I would definitely try it. If you had said 90% I would definitely give it a pass. I guess I'll try the demo again. Thanks for the info. Michael
For the most part, you will be doing match 3 as long as you are finding monsters. Other times you'll likely find yourself training your character/mounts by using purchased forts, or purchasing/equipping the right weapons/gear for your character. As you progress through the game, you'll be able to gain enemy spells by doing other types of puzzles that aren't necessarily match 3 related. During match 3 sessions, you are able to gain mana, experience and gold. Use the gold to buy new weapons, forts, etc. Experience (purple) will get your character closer to gaining a level which will allow you to spend points towards abilities. And mana gets you closer to activating your spells during battle. You'll be seeing RPG elements here for sure.
Well, the rundown is that you can skip the dialog if you choose to. Dialog isn't really important for the gameplay. OTOH, choice of equipement and of spells is vital for your tactics. There are also a variety of "match three" modes. Battle is direct competition with the AI, with both sides trying to damage each other by lining up skulls and using skills (which differ widely from class to class and opponent to opponent). "Capture" mode is clearing out set-piece configurations from the board until it is empty. "Training of the Mount" mode is a timed battle mode, where you have only seconds to make your move. Other modes have you match particular colors until you have a set amount - all without getting into a "no-move" situation. Etc. So, the meat of the game is definitely about the very varied and challenging "match 3" gameplay. I love the game. Have been playing it since Februar and still fire it up almost every day. No other "match 3" comes close for me and very few other games in general.
