The game can easily last 30 hours and far more than with replays for the different character classes. If ever a game was worth the money based on length it would be Puzzle Quest. This isn't a Metal Gear Touch situation.

wow that is quite a bit of gameplay. plus playing with different characters and stuff would give for some replayability

If you do everything you can do - side-quests, captures, training, forging equipement, sieges, then you'd be over 40 hours with a single character, easily. And there is definitely room for at least 1 re-play with a different character. I seldom replay games, but I am on my second character in PQ.

All this provided you love the gameplay mechanic, of course. But the Lite should have helped you to determine this ;).

While I have the original PQ on 4 platforms, I won't buy Galactrix on anything other than PC, because then I couldn't edit the .lua files and disable the leapgates.

Yes, I Kirked the leapgates, and had a hell of a lot more fun afterward.

Yes, surprised me too as I am normally lukewarm on "match 3" gameplay. But adding AI opponent and spells made the tactics amazingly deep, while the whole RPG overlay of skills and items added strategical level and well, all the rest is history. The fantasy story on top is nice, too.

Has anyone heard when Episode 3 is going to be released? Does Namco buying most of D3's shares have anything to do with this?

Ok, so I got the message saying I finished Chapter 2 (but I never got a message saying I beat chapter 1). For anyone else that has finished the main quest, I have a couple questions. Please PM me. Thanks!

(I didn't want to give away anything to those playing the game currently) ;)

    Emailed Costumer Support (Crashing v1.3)

My game continues to crash, so I just sent an email to their costumer support ([email protected]). I'll post their reply when I hear back from them.

I'm sorry if this has been mentioned already, as I have no desire to read through 40 pages of posts, but has anyone else been unable to complete a quest? Any time I try to complete the quest where I turn the sorceror in at the Redguard tower, the game refuses to let me enter the tower. The location is sparkling on my map, and when I tap it it brings up the option to speak to the Redguard, but when I select that option the pop-up menu closes and I'm still standing on the map. I checked the quest progress and I'm somehow at -25%, so it seems pretty clearly like it's a bug. I've tried shutting down my iPod and rebooting, quitting out of the game and booting it back up, defeating another enemy and returning to try again, and syncing my ipod to my computer. So far no luck, and I don't know what else to do. I'm not very far in the game, but I still don't want to delete my character and start over.

I suggest abandoning the quest from the quest tab menu and then re-taking it. When I was doing the Knighthood quest I have taken some other quests and the green markings for knight strongholds disappeared so that I couldn't enter them. Abandoning and retaking the quest fixed that.

I abandoned the game. After 20 hours or playing I had to restore my iphone and when I put everything back on from a backup, everything worked OK except PQ didn't find my saved character. 7 weeks ago this happened, and I have logged every email and the lame ("We are still working on it, we are so busy coding even the owner is doing it!" [Yeah, great...]) response. My issue was, apparently an already known issue, and so despite my very public support for the game and this company initially, I publicly revoke it and apologize to anyone who bought the game and is having problems. Not that I caused the problems, but because I know here and on other forums I have said it's a good game with some issues that were being worked out. Apparently, not so much... it IS a fun game but poorly implemented by Transgaming.

I tried that, but it won't let me abandon it either... I haven't gotten very far in the main quest, but that's because I've been leveling my mount, playing quick play a lot, and doing all of the side quests, so I've still put a lot of hours into the game. It's frustrating to think I might have to get rid of my level 16 rogue now and restart just because of one game-crippling bug. And of course it can't be some side quest that's bugged, it has to be a main story quest...

Just for the record....I never had any issues with crashing or bugs. In fact, I am surprised that people are still having these issues. I had a fun and bug-free experience.

I believe you are at a part where you have to abandon Darkhunter for the time being to talk to the redguard. Go to the character menu then under your companions, uncheck Darkhunter. I think that's the problem. If not do some side quests to trigger the event.

    Hope something helps!
