When I first installed puzzle quest, it asked me if I wanted to store my characters server-side. I said no. I'm guessing that for the folks who did, there may be issues.
This is really frustrating to me. For a while, I had no games to play and couldn't wait for Chapter 2...Now I am playing The Quest and Arvale, and I just found Sway and Zen Bound....I don't have the time to build up another PQ character, but this update makes me want to find out what was past Gruulkar so badly! I really feel as if my character must be stored somewhere, I just have no idea how to contact them and find out...Oh, if only they were a Chillingo/Quest type developer who was on the forums frequently ... Hello out there?
You're probably right, I didn't recall answering anything but I usually play in airplane mode, so I probably forgot I answered no. Seeing the problems, I'm glad I did it so....BUT....this could pose a problem for eventual expansion that are a separate product...where you could retrive your char (probably associated to the device id, as Aurora Feint does).
www.gametreelive.com is the web site for support as indicated in the App Store. Personally I contacted Transgaming support once and they quickly answered me. Judging by the exceptional updates the game has received, I'm pretty sure Transgaming monitor these forums.
Thanks! From the way these knights talked I thought that it would be something much cooler - like Archery ability for free... Well, live and learn.
It's what the woodsman knight uses against you - damages you for half your yellow mana, IIRC, so can hurt a lot. So you can see why I was so excited. Would be too expensive to use as a normal "learned from a captive" spell, probably.
Is that the wizard class? I tried him but couldn't get into him. Actually, I've tried almost all classes and my favorite, at least in the beginning, is the rogue. I'm sure I simply haven't given the rest a chance and some are probably late bloomers, but man... that rogue is good, at least so far
Yep, the Wizard. The Wizard is extremely weak in the beginning, and things don't get interesting until level 15, when you get flaming skulls. - Item that creates random skull at the beginning of your turn. - Mirror item that destroys a random column when 4 or more gems are destroyed (most of the time this gives you yet another 4+ match ready to go). - Flaming Skulls - turns blue into red, green into skulls. Do it when a 4+ match is possible, and most of the time you get multiple 4+ matches. That makes it a very powerful combination. I pretty much only use Flaming Skulls, Firebolts for quick damage when nothing else good is available, and Cauterize (+1 life point for every red gem on the board).
I'm a level 25 Wizard and I love the character. If you can fire off 7 or 8 Firebolts in a row, you can do probably 50-60 damage and I've done that much with Flaming Skulls also. I don't know how much the other classes are capable of, but it's almost becoming too easy now. Then again, I have a Dragon to battle soon. Which reminds, do I need anything special to fight the Dragon?
Just bought quest, sway, idracula, vector tanks, and have barely had time to play them I love lite but not sure ishud buy
IMHO, Puzzle Quest runs circles around those games. It's worth more than twice those other games combined.
Glad you resolved everything!!! Just FYI, a very similar notice appear when you complete Chapter 1 (without bug interfering, obviously). Are you all playing like mads or is it chapter 2 very short? I had unfortunately no time to play, and I'm being simply destroyed by the dragons (Fighter here).
If you're a WIZARD, you pretty much waltz through the game I still have quests left to do, I just did the main quest first this time.
