Oh Hell Nooooo!Another Great Game it's Gone,Normal Routine For Developers And Publishers,But Not For Users,i Think i Will Take It Forever on One of My Devices.
Would this show up in your purchase history if you deleted it from your device? Or is it completely pulled? I'm glad I never deleted it.
I'm glad I got to finish Asphalt 5 in 2014 before it was pulled. That game got me interested in mobile gaming 6 years ago...
Yep. Most likely something in an upcoming version of iOS would require an update to the game to keep it running correctly, and it's fallen into the "no profit" zone so they discontinued it before that happened.
At least it is still in my Purchase list. I would have been so choked if the game was gone for good... I LOVE Mass Effect but never got around to finishing Mass Effect Infiltrator.
Mass Effect: Infiltration Complete Pretty sad news that they pulled it from the AppStore, but I guess since they stopped supporting the game, the extra payment to keep it in the store just wasn't a good company decision for them. I must say that Mass Effect: Infiltrator was a great game all by itself! The graphics, sound, presentation, and everything were very high quality especially for a 2012 mobile game, even today, when I play it on my iPad 2, it looks and plays friggin' amazing!! The controls took a little time to get used to, but when you got used to them, the experience is so much grander. I will keep the game on my iPad 2 (running 5.x.x) for as long as i have it....another note is that even on iPad 2 running iOS 5.x.x, the most optimal hardware/software configuration for that device, the game may lag a bit (nothing too serious) when in the heat of a big battle, but I swear it NEVER crashed on me, hell, even some cutscenes run at a full 60fps! This game, like GOF2, XCOM: EU, Magic 2013 (while playing 4-person Planeswalker), pushed my iPad 2 to the limits, usually leaving less than 50MB of available RAM. Unfortunately, the same probably couldn't be said for an iPad 2 running iOS 7+. I also loved the futuristic presentation of the game right down to Store item description dialogue; for each upgrade you buy (in-game currency that you can earn at a reasonable non-FREEMIUM rate), the dialogue and description would change.....some of the technology spoken of made me laugh because of how "technologically advanced" the descriptions were; just small things like these bring me great admiration towards this game. The game is quite challenging at times, and there's a New Game + as well as BONUS MISSIONS------All in one sweet 1.2 GB package. The best thing is that the game can be fully played OFFLINE and doesn't require any internet connectivity unless you want to enter Galaxy at War or purchase the currency IAP. This game is a bit on the short side in terms of length, but it is truly a solid game! EA took this game seriously during development.
Apple needs to work MUCH harder on maintaining backwards compatibility between release. It is not realistic to expect devs to continually return to fix old apps. It is better for the dev to pull the game than to put money into a game that is no longer generating revenue.
Just loaded this up on my ipad only to discover the controls and sound aren't working at all...too bad EA abandon it. Got it for free one time but never bothered to play through it...regretting that now.
Yeah, I just did the same thing yesterday, actually. At least I know for sure now, that there wasn't an issue with my iPad, since that's exactly what happened to me, also.
This Just Started with iOS 9,Both This And Dead Space Audio Gone on iOS 9,then On iOS 10 Dead Space Can Be Played( Without Sound) and This not Only Not working on audio and controls, but if you start a game,it Freeze at the Beginning.
wow , thought to upgrade to ios 10 to test dead space with it ,so ios 10 didn't fix the audio issues with dead space?
Loaded it up on iPhone 7 10.2. Starts but can't move. Loaded bonus mission and I can actually move but get stuck on 2nd room. Seems to be something with audio playback. Starting regular mission with subtitles on you see response but then it disappears and you're stuck. Oh well. Started playing ME3 with some buds on Xbone.
Disappointing that Apple hasn't done something about backwards compatability. Hard for me to take iOS seriously as a gaming platform when games I own become unplayable like this. Graphically the game seemed to stand up really well today, just no money in it for EA at this point I guess.
Strange that a game from a big company like EA breaks after iOS updates. Meanwhile my original puzzle quest game still works after many iOS revisions.
