suggestions I have a few interesting suggestions based primarily on difficulty curves (no pun intended, you'll see why) The basic idea I had whilst playing was that it would be very nifty to have various levels of difficulty. Now, as this is a progressive game, you might say that's already built in, but my ideas would tweak it a little bit so that (as an example) you might have 3 modes as follows: Easy - The same as what's available now, but with a rollback feature so that if your planes collide, you're taken back by, say, 5 seconds, so you can try again without redo'ing the whole thing. Medium - As the game currently is. Hard - As with medium except to add an extra level of difficulty, certain landing vectors will not be accepted, eg I can currently run a plane dead down the runway and have it flat turn by 180 degrees and land. Hard mode would more accurately simulate a realistic landing approach so that you can only turn by a certain degree, and your aircraft would have to be in line with the runway before landing was possible. Those are just some basic idea's, I kinda like the idea of rollback personally, as it would be a very nifty way to really push your limits past that one craft that slipped by unnoticed =)
Hi all First post but like to say this is an awesome game. As someone mentioned it reminds me of those game n watch games of old. Got 199 after a tip from an earlier post. Secret I found is to try and get into a groove and land the planes fast. As mentioned again in an earlier post you can come up the runway from the right and do a quick u turn to land. This way you can have two planes land almost the same time on the main runway. Another tip is try and land planes first go. if you make a mistake and have to send a plane around again you end up feeling rushed with too many planes on the screen at once. cheers Dave
#1 in the UK app store. Might have to read through this thread now to see what all the fuss is about. Heh.
Now #4 haha. I'm still having great fun and the earlier idea about game modes would be awesome, plus more airport configs of course.
It definitely is worth it. I did a review on it, and it's great! Could use a bit more depth and variety, but for $1, it's a steal for the excellent gameplay.
Flight Control is more addicting and more fun to play. Nothing real wrong with ATC, they're just different.
I personally like Flight Control better too. It's easier to pick up and play and more relaxing, but if you want realism, go with ATC. And Flight Control is now number 2!
ya i was shocked by this news, but in a good way. it wasnt even in the top 50 a few days ago i think and then this morning i look and its 2
Yeah, it moved like 24 spots yesterday, what's the purpose of this game? do you just draw lines to land them? What's the challenge?
drawing lines to land them without crashing them into each other. plus different planes land at different runways/pads
This game is so addicting! its not just drawing lines. Certain planes go to certain runways so they intersect. also they go at diferent speeds so while you think that the planes wont crash they could. I really recommend it to anyone its an amazing game and great graphics
