what about addin a special mode with powerups like slowlier flyin planes or faster or let the game freeze to plan where to land or another 1 with no hits
to get the powerupds u have to land special planes

I wish I could try out co-op mode. One of my friends has an iphone, no interest whatsoever in any game but 7 cities. Another refuses to spend a single cent on any games and downloads them all cracked. And another just won't buy anything (he spend forever thinking about getting real soccer for $0.99) but his brother pirates....

    no co-op for me

Co-op mode absolutely rocks. Spent lunch and breaktimes Friday playing FC with a coworker!

Just want to chime in that the multiplayer implementation is one of the best I have seen (especially on the iPhone). Makes me glad that the wife and I both have iPhones :D

Hopefully other games will learn to implement similar functionality because we always enjoyed the Nintendo DS style multiplayer games.

Anyone have ideas for maps? For some reason it's not as easy thinking up of gimmicks for Flight Control since air works different from the water in Harbor Master. Plus Flight Control seems a bit "straight-laced". :(

I'm thinking uncontrollable obstacles and impaired visibility...

    Birds and clouds. :)

How about an air force base with jets (faster) and helicopters etc.

A city airport where some buildings have heli-pads on top and a strip someplace.

    Maybe just a helicopter level.

I know... in company with Harbor Master, a water landing combined with helicopters landing on rich people's yachts.

Your right, it is kinda hard.

I second both the city level and a military base. Such levels would be cool. I also second weather and birds.

resort islands - maybe lots of small airstrips?

arctic setting? supply planes? fire fighting copters that drop water? mountain rescue theme? lunar setting - space shuttle and pod landings?

come on I got a million of em!!! :)

EDIT: personally i think you should retain the integrity of your game, simple landing of craft, no redirecting..i think harbor master is a mess...

maybe we couuld have planes come in fast and then slow down for landing.
Or also direct planes for take-off, similar to leading boats out of docks in harbor master

Oh okay you're on the ball. I smiled when I saw the fire fighting rescue copters and space shuttle landings. That's actually pretty damn good ideas. :)

    Flight Control

I love Flight Control, but I just can't get a hang of the aircraft carrier level. Planes are just moving too fast for my old reflexes.

I really hope firemint will implement some of these in an update, there's so much that can be added
