Bought and played iPad version for half an hour or so. Impressive game! Perfect controls. Love the double-tap on the character to look around quickly and the virtual hightech navigation system. Absolute smooth graphics and frame rates. Amazing and (better than) movie-like effect sounds with my Sennheiser headphones! Highly recommended if you like the genre, one of the best games altogether. This and Nova 2 on sale, now I am really scared!

Today I finished Dead Space on the iPhone 4 Great experience But the final boss was kind of easy Or is it coz of my upgrades I will give the game a try on Hard mode after I finish some other games like NOVA 2 or Shadow Guardian A lot of "work" to do
How long is this game anyways? How's the story too? Does it tie well to DS2 (which I absolutely enjoyed).
The main character on iDS is Vandal.. not that it matters as the game is still superb and nails the atmosphere from its console counterpart. Just hands down the best serious gaming experience I've had on my iPhone.
It tells the story of how the necromorphs got released into Titan station. If you've played DS2, then you might have found some logs later in the game that are from a suit about to run a mission for the unitologists? This is that story. It's not great, but it's not bad either. I enjoyed it, even though it was pretty predictable, and you'll get to hear more from Tidemann (?). The game will run you ~4 hours the first time, most likely, but there is NG+ and an unlocked harder mode, plus incentives to do things like speed runs and what not. There's probably at least a good 10 hours to do everything, and I've been happy playing it over and over again.

When will the game be released in the german app store? The iVersion is less violent than the PS3 version and you did it release in germany anyway (just without frindly fire mode, but nothing like that in iOS game). When?

Loved Dead Space 1 and Dead Space 2, now we have this on the iPhone. I still stand by my statements: "The iPhone is basically a handheld console with the functionality of a phone." This game proves it, it's basically what Dead Space would be like on the PSP or PS2, just that it's much MUCH cheaper than a DVD or UMD version would be.
I can't tell you how awesome it is that you guys listen to the community and take action. We really appreciate it and we also appreciate how you've been putting out quality games on a consistent level. Keep up the good work!
