If they added multiplayer to this game, well we have the best iOS game ever on our hands. :D

i hope they don't add MP, is not necessary, instead, i'd love if they released a couple of charpters or some DLC for this game, i would pay for DLC for this game.

i think still without MP this is the bestest game in the app store.

Count me in as well. Hoping for extra special weapons or expansion tho. Not the power nodes or credits. EA knows by now nodes or credits will be ignored by serious DS players. :)

Found it at the left side somewhere during the final boss.

dude, is there a way you can start in hard mode with all your previous gear? or you have to start from scratch?

Hard Mode you have to start from scratch without any weapons so you have to retrieve them and upgrade them again. Its not so bad though. Fairly short in fact.

You have to start from scratch, but that just makes the game way more fun :) I've been dieing way more than on my normal playthrough.

Great strategy. Stasis+Melee saves ammo big time. Not ideal if you'll do the speed run achievement but I love this combo to death. Makes it less scary though. How I wish the Line Gun can carry a hundred rounds. :D

It sounds quite hyped but Dead Space is really good and belongs to the short list of iOS game greats. The gameloft duo: NOVA2 and MCBP don't hold a candle. After you're done, you'll be asking for more. As for the story line, it's quite good. Just pay attention to the conversations between Isaac, Hans Tiedemann and Vandal. It's a prequel to what's gonna happen in Dead Space 2 so this is a special version not found in the console/PC ones. If still unsure, I urge you to read both the IGN and Ars Technica reviews.

Infinity Blade is still my favorite game on iOS. It showcases amazing graphics and utilizes a unique control scheme created for the iPhone. In other words, this game was created specifically for the iphones touch screen.

Dead Space is my 2nd most favorite game on iOS. It showcases amazing graphics and utilizes a unique control scheme created for the iPhone. In other words, this game was created specifically for the iphones touch screen.

    Wait...

What I'm trying to say is this a a must have game for hardcore gamers on iOS. It is highly polished by a professional game development team.

Just get Infinity Blade and Dead Space and support the game developers by paying for the games so they can continue to make amazing games.

    Hardcore gamers, casual gamers..pish posh.

A professional development team? You mean to say people thought EA Games and CHAIR were tiny indie developers that need money? Lol they could care less how what they're making on the appstore. The revenue they make through console games exceed the amount they make through the iOS appstore by many proportions. Dead Space and Infinity Blade have pretty much earned them pocket change.

I also disagree with your choice of favorites, but that's just your opinion and mine.

They might not earn much from this game, but like you've said, they don't need to. This makes a good publicity that potentially help them to generate more revenue from their console/pc counterpart.

Even if it doesnt, the game pretty much says "Hey people we're a good company that makes good games", seems good enough for me.

Exactly, and I do agree with you. Well also, both games were tests to see what the iOS is truly capable of. I just wanted to correct some things since I don't like seeing information that doesn't make sense in posts.

Just finished the game twice on normal and twice on hard + seven hours into Dead Space 2 chapter 8  That's a lot of playing this weekend! Truly an amazing game on the idevice.

And to answer one of the questions... No, Isaac does not have a wife (spoiler)-- Isaac has a dead girlfriend Nicole -- Isaac is not in the game either.
