I can only answer your first Q. That is the door you came from so no need to go back. It's a glitch but just ignore it. You're supposed to go to the opposite direction towards the foot of the core.

Thought you said you finished the game? But if you really wanna go back that way for whatever purpose, just restart checkpoint. Til EA solves this glitch, I don't see a way of going back. It won't matter anyway coz it's the door where you came in.

 

I have gotten every achievement now. Just beat hard mode yesterday. They barely give you any ammo pickups. Some of the lockdowns were hard to get through with zero ammo. The One Gun achievement worked when I started a new profile. I think if you're on NewGame+, it counts if you used other weapons in the first time through. And doesn't let you get the achievement. So, I would recommend to start a new profile for One Gun achievement and the 2 hours one. It took me two tries to get the 2 hours. I ended with 1:57:07. First time was 2:07:01

Edit: Also im kinda mad. I registered both dead space on iphone and dead space two on my ps3 on same account and i didnt get crap. What is this?

Here is the screenshot of my profiles. lol The first one says 12 hours, because I played it over 5 or 6 times to get achievements.

I just completed my first play through (on normal) in 2 hours 32 minutes.. I gotta say I love this game, I am now going to do new game+. This game is quite amazing indeed.. I got quite a few scares especially when I played with headphones and in the dark.. The ending was so freaking suprising and the final boss was tough at first until I realized what happened. I hope they add an expansion to reveal what happened after that final event..anyways the game is a must buy and everyone should get it.. Time for me to upgrade all my weapons and get all achievements and suits..

 

Just finished too loved the ending. I hope EA continues to make more high quality titles like this for the iPhone all year!

 

So last time does anyone freaking know what else besides a power node you get if you register the game?! I am really curious

 

Anybody unlock the secret achievment yet? What is it?

 

Is this game worth it?

 

Maybe the achievement is for getting all achievements....who knows

It's absoluely worth it. As others have said, it's the best game on in the appstore. There are other very good games, but this is the fullest game experience. The game is amazingly polished, immersive, and fun. It's easily worth every penny.
