Too many off topic posts here. Some states have tax and some dont. The ones that do, dont have the same tax rates either (afaik). In any case, it doesnt really matter and wont change anything for anyone here so lets just concentrate on the game instead. If you want to talk about which states have tax and how much, create a new thread in lounge (guess I'll end up moving most of the posts here to the upcoming thread. Barely a handful are discussing the actual game )
Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely going to be getting Dead Space as soon as it's available. There's definitely a difference in paying $6.99 for a title like Dead Space that coincides with the release of a major console game and paying $6.99 for a port of UMK3, but that price drop down to $0.99 a week after Mortal Kombat was released was totally uncalled for. It's all good though, and like I said...the wait today is going to be f***ing long.
I know! i was lucky enough to wait for the drop with MK3 but this is a must have on release game only 11hrs 30mins to go

Any one have any actual gameplay thoughts or anything? Was hoping this was going to be $5 or less... Sitting on the fence @ $7, waiting to jar what people think of it first.
I watched a video with some gameplay footage a while back, and I came away with a feeling that the actual gameplay looked like it was set up like Quick-Time Event Sequences and not an actual FPS. Swipe here, tap this, progress the story . . . Anyone have actual gameplay impressions to offer from a region where Dead Space is already in the wild?
I'm afraid I can't wait till the morning to play it, haha. I don't mind staying up! Although I am getting a bit tired.
