For those who have been able to purchase the game, even though your probably only a few minutes into the game, is it scary at all?
Sim City wasn't released along side a highly anticipated console sequel of a stupidly successful franchise.
If you're worried about it, just add it to your AppShopper wish list and wait for the push alert saying it's on sale. If there's one constant on the App Store, it's that everything, eventually, drops in price. I guess it's up to you if potentially waiting months is worth saving a couple dollars.
It follows the formula of Dead Space, with quite a few predictable scares, and some surprises. This is definitely a game you'll want to play in the dark with some good headphones.
Woah, 10 bucks. I was originally going to buy it immediately, but I'll wait for impressions before i take the plunge given the high price.
Yeah, it has a pretty good creepy vibe with some great sound effects and surprise attacks. Controls are pretty good but I would have liked an option to up the sensitivity so they were a little faster but just might need a little getting used to. Occasionally the camera gets a bit close at times and can block your view which can be a problem if it happens during an attack. Enjoying it so far though.
Good point! It only took, what, 2 weeks or even 1 week in Mortal Kombat case before it dropped to $0.99
There's tax in certain areas. (I believe that California is the only state that doesn't have tax in the US because of Apple's HQ)
