Does anyone know of this will be like the Dead Space iOS release where it was its own stand alone game (like Dead Space 1.5) or if it's a port of one of the earlier Bioshock games?
I'm playing to my iPhone 5s and I just take the first plasmid! Omg it's bioshock in my device, the same as Xbox 360 but...graphics and details are not the same! Too much aliasing, low res texture and low dynamic light. Framerate is good. Maybe on IPad Air the game looks good but on iPhone 5s is not ! Regarding the game as is said first the gameplay and controls are very good!
I guess this day is officially "the iPad 3 is obsolete", hey? Oh well, it's the last apple product I will ever own, the time had to come eventually.
So, the iPad Mini 2 is only the one with retina display ? Because, I don't think I have that one. I probably can't play it then? I don't know. These numbering sequences and saying 2 instead of retina display confuses me.

I only ever made it up to the second level on the 360 version, because it was too scary. Oh well, I'll buy it anyway.
Good news is that without dynamic lightining (removed from iOS version), chances are the game won't be scary or even very atmospheric at all.
I wish more makers of horror realized lightning is the sole key to atmosphere and dramaturgical effect.
I didn't see it listed so I am guessing no, controller support? Loved this on the Xbox, one of the best games I have played.
That's one way of seeing things.... Hopefully the inevitable android port (as well as an update for future iOS devices) can turn all those effects back on, I'm pretty sure my shield tablet could handle them, considering how amazing Trine 2 looks on it.
I wouldn't go as far to say it is the sole key (audio, for instance, can have a huge impact too), but yeah it's pretty important.

the first thing that'll hit you is the lack of retina... not a surprise as it's the minimum for running the ios version; it's either that or lags from hell, I guess. also, you can't rearrange the on-screen controls, and there's sometimes no sound at all for a few seconds. enjoy.
