Have the graphics improved on the 5S? I want to play this, but I just can't handle the sandy textures.

With the new update graphics is decent on my iPhone 6 but not clear as other games like modern combat 5! It's slightly better, maybe on 6+ is better! Framerate is very good!

Yesterday i discovered something really interesting
If you have an iph6/6+ jailbreaked, and you use the Tweak ForceGoodFit with Bioshock, al the hud elements goes smaller and to the left corner of the screen, but the game runs at full resolution and without any fps drop that i noticed.
Th bad thing is that the controls are f*cked up, and while you can move, aiming is nearly imposibble

However, other UE3 games like horn or IB3, it increases the resolution and you can control perfectly

So maybe changing some documents in Bioshock app can repair controls and play in Full resolution...

That's good news. It means the device can handle it but for some reason they don't want to give us native res.

I keep checking up on this thread hoping for some positive feedback.. I really want to buy it but all I hear about is the poor visuals and horrible controls.. Shame, this one of the best games ever

Cydia tweaks are mostly based on Substrate which means it is directly hooking into the binary/frameworks. No way you can get these results by changing some files with an text editor. Some guys already tried without any results.

Yeah to play in full resolution is neccesary to use this tweak
But maybe fixing controls is easier editting something inside app folder

False! The risolution is better but framerate is not good, have you tried only the beginning of the game? In the largest area fps drop down and the game is unplayable! iPhone 6!

Yes but with the last update there is not a big difference, forcegoodfit improve only hud resolution like controls but not the game's graphic so it's useless! Maybe on iPhone 6+ is different but on iPhone 6 the resolution is the same.

On my iPhone 6 plus, after last update, had better graphic(not that much as other games) and FPS it's good,no lag or framerate drops also later in The game(i talk of The game itself, without tweaks or JB) I was referring that i think there no way that BIOSHOCK can Run at native resolution FULL HD,cause i'm sure it Will unplayable with 10 FPS,cause The GPU can't handle it..but,at same time,i thinks 2K Devs can do better on iPhone 6,6 plus, with better grapchic than now, seems lot of devs avoid Metal api..

Yes naturally it's impossible to run bioshock at 1920x1080! With Metal effects is going to be amazing!

I bought it just to support these types of games to continue coming to iOS. I hope they continue to patch it and add Metal support but I won't hold my breath on that one. Still in my iPhone 6 plus it looks pretty damn good and is smooth as silk now.

Has this been addressed yet? The update came with inverted controls, but neither option actually changes anything. I've been holding out playing this because I can't get used to "normal" y-axis controls.

Thanks for the answer, if it runs great on Air it'll be fine on Mini 2 too.

Has anyone heard if the devs are going to do anymore updates? I am surprised there is no more talk about the game, I guess most of us already played it before on other consoles or the PC.
