No, if you have any other gaming platform. You can get it for less w/ better controls and graphics. Admittedly, it's a full port, but the graphics are so cut down it's distracting. It's a masterpiece of a game (and my personal favorite shooter), do it justice and play on a platform better suited to it.
Are the BOTS to help me??? Plus i cant hack worth a shit, do i need to have BOTS???? what a cool ass game,
Any news to whether if Bioshock will be playable on iPod touch 5g soon? ANY news at all for an update for iPod touch 5 or anything at all?
Just a friendly reminder: This thread is a place to discuss Bioshock and only Bioshock. There's no need to take personal jabs at anyone and question anyone's parenting skills. Alright? Keep it that way. Any more off-topic discussion or offensive/not-so-offensive/semi-offensive/whatever comments and I'm afraid us mods are going to have to put on our moderator hats and take action...and no one wants that, right?
If you're good in hack minigames,do it,but don't expect they help you, they give you one hand at last on 1,2 enemy, then the splicers destroy them really quickly..
Haven't had time to play beyond the initial arrival to rapture (about the point of creepy lady with the "baby" in the stroller) - as noted initially, loadtimes are a bit crazy, patience will be needed. But compared to the much more powerfull iPhone 5 it's actually descent. Framerates are probably a bit lower, but in no way in a game-breaking way. Graphics seem pretty much the same to me. Note: I'm on jailbroken devices, but have done nothing jailbreak-wise to get this to run on my iPad 3.
Just a heads up, the game allows you to save at any time, and you may start racking up save files, just like I remember on 360 they can be large in size. I am just about done in Fort Frolic and have racked up about 200mb in saves. So keep an eye on that if you are limited on storage space. You can check in Usage and go into the app details itself. Also as an update to iPad 3 performance, it can be unbearable at times now that the enemy encounters can be more complex with more enemies. Vita chambers are pretty much essential to avoid frustration. I played originally with them off and on the hardest difficulty on 360, which would be a bad idea here unless you have an iPad Air and a MFi controller. Arcadia in the farmers market has some slowdown and the Atrium in Fort Frolic can be the same. Once you get into contained areas it is fine, but larger open areas can take a dive. It can be a slideshow at times. In the end I expected it, since it is not supported, but manageable and I am still enjoying being back in Rapture. It got me to finally finish Burial at Sea Episode 2 and begun replaying BioShock on my PC as well.
I remember on my PS3 with 3 savefile, was, and still the game with huge savefile, but are near to 20MB each, but 200MB,and only in Fort Frolic are too much,my iOS huge savefiles in hundreds of games it's Max Payne,be around 60MB..I was expected huge savefile, but not like this, only launch the game you have 12MB of data, without play, now I'm 40MB..let's hope they at last optimized via update this large data usage..Arcadia,it's my favourite level in all the game..
I just reached Neptune' bounty and my opinions are: -perfect gameplay, even if sometimes touch controls don't respond well but the game is very playable. - decent graphics, on my 5S is good but resolution is so low, it seems 320x480, when it's dark is difficult to kill enemies, too much pixels! - price is right because it's bioshock on mobile(if you take a look to square enix titles you understand )
I just finished Fort Frolic and arrived at Hephaestus and I'm clocking in at over 12 hours. I take my time a lot.
i crawl along, read every sign, note, look at the scenery, I just got the Pyro and headed to get a key? never played a game like this, I love RAPTURE
Does this have achievements or anything? For someone who played it through 15 or so times and 100% it on 360 not sure if I should get it.
Indeed it does. They are mostly the same as the 360 achievements. It also has the BioShock art book to read through, leaderboards and game stats such as weapon usage, deaths, time played etc. Some nice extras only in this version. It also includes the bonus tonics and plasmids added later to previous versions such as Sonic Boom (think force push).
i am in olympus heights(escaping right now),how much i have to end? Anyone know the code for lift to escape?for numbers but cant find...
