really wish i could play longer .. but now i have eyecancer .. the textures r terrible .. u cant see if its an object or just a big pixel of something else
For me,i play it 9 playtrough on PS3,it's worth rescue The little sisters..but you can save in different saveslot choosing different path, but it affect lot of things,And a cool feature if you rescue them that othervise you don't have if you harvesting them..also affect achievements, but that not a problem, you can play 1 playtrough rescue them,And another One harvesting them,i always rescue them, except One playtough for see how affect Gameplay..i can say you PM me,And i tell you exactly why rescue, but then you lose something with spoiler..
No, Apple's definition is very clear and simple. The app needs to have: - Icons made at the various resolutions for different retina devices. - Be able to support the widescreen aspect ratio of the iphone 5 (as in the initial 2012 iphone 5 launch, many apps had black bars at the side... This is no longer allowed. However that has nothing to do with supporting full retina resolution. You can render the a game in 16:9 widescreen and not have it be the full resolution of the screen. Apple don't force the resolution on the actual app (though it's great if you can run at full res)
Yes, I'm aware of those definitions, I have them on another file here in front of me somewhere. That's not exactly what I'm talking about, or at least not what I perceived I was talking about. Resolution, native resolution or any variation or percentage of it was not exactly my point. I was considering other factors such as..., well, as we are just going around in a Spiral ))here, I think I'll just bow out and leave ye to it. Yep. It is mighty heavy on my iPad battery as well. Not as bad as two hours obviously enough but definitely the heaviest not online game I've come across so far. I'm not surprised by it though as battery and power is one of those restricting factors and I had every expectation that this one would drain it a lot, particularly so on the iPhone. Still, I'm not sure I'd even risk playing it on my iPhone during the day while away from a charging point as I'd need the phone too much for other things. But then again that applies to most games for me which is why I tend to stick to the iPad only for games.
If I'm not mistaken don't most games tend to render the game world and the UI independently before combining the layer into the final image put on screen? So what typically happens is that the game world is rendered at sub-native resolutions for performance reasons, but the UI layer is rendered at native (Retina) resolutions since it's the most user facing part and benefits from being sharper. The final composite image is then always native (Retina) but only parts of the image have that level of detail.
About 5 hours in. Not too sure what I think of the port. We're having a love and hate relationship ಥ_ಥ
Did you actually read what I said? "For people who rely solely on iOS devices for their gaming and who have no need for a console, this is fantastic." My post is solely about people who have only iOS devices to game on, if you have an Xbox One go and play games on that. That's entirely the point I made, that this port needs to be looked at in the right context. If you're a console gamer you're always going to be arsey about this port (not YOU specifically), but if you're a casual gamer with only iOS devices it's a great way to experience the title without going out and buying a console. I don't play consoles now, I'm 35 and have been bought/imported/owned/paid over the odds for every platform imaginable from the age of 7 upwards. Console gaming bores me, but that's just me .
Just want to remember this..its a console game on a phone. No in app no connection required. Meditate
Hmmm idk. I guess I just expected less on the enviroments and a little more on the resolution. But thats just me. I personally am a bit picky on resolution and don't mind how bad bland textures or enviroments look. I like the game though. I'm enjoying it so far, even though it irks me a bit every now and then. I guess I'm just too spoiled with Gameloft games and other graphically intensive games lol.
Guys wtf like 40 hours passed and it is still not out in Azerbaijan even though all 2k games including civilization revolution 2 were released in Azerbaijan store.I was waiting for so fu##ing long for this game to play on my iPad 4 and that's what I get?
Love the game, I too own consoles PS3, Xbox 360, High End computers, PS Vita to name a few, but have solely gone over to Android and IOS gaming, this game looks good and plays beautifully with touch screen. Hope to see more ports like Borderlands that I own for Vita,
lol! Nope, no spoilers, i'll have a second playthrough where i rescue them. I'm having one hell of a blast with this game, this is worth buying a controller. i played the two other bioshocks and i have to say, this is by far my favorite (and its on my goddamn phone!!)
It's true it doesn't work on iPad mini 1 but I thot I'd give it a go. It struggled along at minimal frame rate then gave up in the bathysphere ride down to Rapture! Oh well a tenner down the drain then!
