The challlenge is to judge speed and trajectory for accurate collisions. Hitting the front facing sides of objects will not do. As if this werent enough there is also a built-in face designer and a multitude of collectible hats. Premium IAP gives access to even better hats and other benefits. The graphics and cut scenes are something special making this well worth a download. Didn't like this game at all. It's very boring to roll head and smash ice and boxes and stuff. The head would have smashed first. And why that bear tries to catch that head? What's with that hearts above it's head? This doesn't feel right. Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #6 Asp, Nov 23, 2017 Excellent. You raise some valid questions! Brightsiderus Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2017 2,233 538 113 #7 Brightsiderus, Nov 23, 2017 Well, I know how the bear can use the head, but it's out of PG-13. You just tap the side boost button to time your tackles (should be very hard to time your tackles if you tap as fast as you can all the time). My tip would be to tap wisely. Nevertheless, thank you for trying it out. It's pretty darn close. Back then I used to have trouble finding spare heads though, always seemed to be attached to some body. Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #15 Asp, Nov 23, 2017 I thought the same at first - tap fast to keep moving. Figured it out though. Just need to let Pukk slide with a few strategic taps to change the angle. The speed is constant and you control side speed with the right button to alter Pukks trajectory/angle. Grist Well-Known Member Nov 7, 2008 362 25 28 VP of Marketing Massachusetts #18 Grist, Nov 23, 2017 What is the objective? At first I thought the objective was to smash as many crates and ice blocks as possible, but that requires constant tapping in order to maximize the collisions into these objects and I quickly ran out of fingers that weren't in pain. After playing a bit more this morning, less sleepy than during my first stab at this game late last night, it now appears that the objective may be to avoid most of the crates and ice blocks in order to travel as far as possible before the polar bear grabs your head. However, the game shows numerical targets for crashing into crates and ice blocks, so I guess the idea is to somehow stay ahead of the bear while also occasionally crashing into the objects along the way. I recommend that the developer add a brief statement at the start of the game about its objectives, just in case other people who try this game are as clueless as I've been. Itatake Well-Known Member Mar 7, 2012 182 37 28 Game concepts Sweden, Göteborg #19 Itatake, Nov 23, 2017 Objectives Hi Grist. You get your Objectives when starting every level (smash 5 ice, in the example below). You stay ahead of the bear as long as you smash blocks from the side. If you front collide a block you will loose your speed/bounce back and the bear will catch you (you get an extra tutorial message of this every Game Over, until you choose to not see it again). Hope this helps OkyOky Well-Known Member Mar 10, 2017 64 7 8 #20 OkyOky, Nov 23, 2017 Funny? No sure it this is really funny, may be i didnt realize the dynamics at all.. How do you break more ice at once or one after the other on same side? (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
