Yeah, I could see the difference right off the bat. Thanks man, much appreciated, as usual. Deleted, until improvements ensue.
Wow, that really does show the difference. I mean look at the thermometer especially. It's clear as day on Android and completely unreadable on iOS. Everything else is jagged while nice smooth lines on Andriod. I also know from playing the two that during gameplay it actually looks even worse because it kind of flickers or something on iOS that just makes it look like a mess. The devs obviously put no effort at all into optimizing the iOS version. Sad.
The frame rate is inconsistent. The puddle itself will stutter especially. Frame rate and blurriness. It's simply not optimized. I don't know what they'd have to do to fix it, but if it was my game, I wouldn't leave it out on the AppStore the way it is. You might as well attach a bloody steak to it and throw it in a shark tank. And now it's free, where even more people will see these mistakes. I don't get it.
Downloaded because it was free. Really wanted it at launch but was turned away by the reviews of the graphics. Wow. This is really bad. It's not that it's just not retina. This looks like it's a 300 x 200 game stretched to fit the high res screen. It's simply aweful, and hard to look at. Funny thing is, if they removed the antialiasing, it might look kind of interesting in a retro way. Ugh. How could they release this like this?
Definitely looks like crap on my iPad 4. Tried it on my iphone 5 though and it Looks fine...I think. Maybe I was missing something. The game is so cool that even with the bad graphics it's still worth a play through being that it's free. Just pretend that is has pixel graphics.
