resistance 2 is pretty good, but yeah killzone 2 felt kind of clunky from what I played. Uncharted 2 will hand gears' ass to it on a platter. The only reason no other fps will ever be as good as halo is that game developers just decided that split screen is soooooo last gen. Nothing is more fun than sitting down with three friends and shooting the crap out of eachother, and nobody but bungie gets that. Yeah, I get that you don't want to risk your graphical prowess with double rendering, but it's just getting stupid. Probably one of the most bonehead moves was not including split screen multiplayer in quantum of solace last year. Don't own the game, just played it, and the shooter mechanics were fairly solid, but it just was lackluster compared to other shooters. Why not put in split screen multiplayer like in goldeneye and have your game not suck? I just don't get it
resistance 2 was supposed to be a gears of war killer, but wasn't even close.uncharted 2 is more of a assassins creed with guns. mixed up with a little gears. i think it will be good but shouldn't be considered a shooter. more of a action adventure game i guess idk. but uncharted 2 does look amazing
I've played the first one, and the second one. Nothing like assassins creed. It is a legitimate shooter. Deathmatch is deathmatch and plunder is a great game of capture the flag
i haven't played the 2nd one, the first one was fun. but wasn't even close to being a gears of war type game.idk how to explain uncharted. but even though i hate playstation, and almost everything on the ps3 besides little big planet, uncharted 2 is the first ps3 game im excited for.it looks amazing
I like to think of Uncharted as a "Bad Ass" Tomb Raider lol. Don't get me wrong, tomb raider was great for it's time, but the controls f*cking blow. This game just takes elements from that action/adventure style, and makes it kick ass. Just my .02 But KZ2 sucked? What?! Yeah it's a little clunky on the control end, but once you get used to it (which doesn't take too long) it's my favourite FPS on the PS3 Online (I did feel the story was a tad Mundane). I love the Call of Duties, but I always go back to KZ2. It just kicks ass lol. DEFINITELY better than f*cking Halo though. I am not a PS3 "fanboy" or anything, I like the Halo story. I just hate the controls and it's multiplayer. I just played em for the story and that's it.
i love halos story, but i hate online. and i didn't like killzone because they just went over the top it seems. alot of times there was too much going on and when im unloading a full clip into a enemy i want him to die at some point. it looked absolutely amazing. but i just didnt like it i have no idea ha and i dont play ps3 games online, because the only games ive ever been interested in playing online, are graw,gow,and cod.with a few other random ones.and i like the whole xbox live experience,better than the playstation network.
Ya, I agree PS3 doesnt have much exclusive content anymore, but 360 never really attracted me and that white little box eating dust in some corner of my room known as Wii is the only current gen console I have So for those few of us who dont already have a 360, this looks pretty good though I doubt I`ll be getting too many games for it, as I`ll be waiting for them to go on sale for for 99cents first
i'm really considering selling my PS3 to get this one. I know i will be at a loss in the money department buy i really want this.
Yeah sometimes it can take a bit to take some people down if you are playing a game with a room full of the Assault Class lmao. I love the Chaos of the game though. It's mega fun for me. And yeah it looks great. But what do you mean over the top? Like every class is over powered? Cause that's what i love. Every class is so overpowered it makes it hectic ahahah Ohhh yeah hand's down. KZ2 is about the only game I play online for my PS3. Other than that, Playstations Online community is a f*cking joke. PS3 is great if you are loner, but the 360's unparalleled Online experience is definitely where I get down on some CoD:4/WaW with some RL friends and what not.
trust me, the community is rising and theres gonna be tons of people getting the ps3 slim and the 80 gb, because the number one complaint was price, so now people can shut up and buy it.
haha no because they've all already bought the xbox 360. they were all waiting for there exclusives which are now coming to 360, besides a few.
Yeah the community is rising slowly, but I am talking about the system they use to get people in parties sucks. I mean Xbox 360 has a system to where You invite friend without being in the game, and you can join your party's game seemlessly. The PS3 makes it so f*cking complicated and you have to be IN GAME to invite each other to team up. I mean it's so ****ing frustrating that it totally turns me off from playing Online with friends. What if I want to talk to my friends while they are playing or finishing up a game, while I am playing with other friends? It is just so unnessisary and is mainly why I find it such a joke. They really need to change that and have a party system like the 360. It really is for the better of the online community IMO. And if more people are going to be buying PS3's, I hope they impliment something better.
I hate trying to argue for the ps3, cuz I'm not a fanboy, I enjoy a lot of the games on the 360, but it bothers me when 360 fanboys diss the ps3. I feel like I have to defend it. My decision to get a ps3 mainly came down to the types of games I play. I don't only play online shooters and I wanted varying experiences. Left 4 dead, halo, gears are all good but I don't only want to play hardcore gory shooters. Littlebigplanet and uncharted and ratchet and clank were probably the three biggest exclusives that drew me in (ratchet was my favorite game of the ps2 era). But there are a lot of good exclusives coming in the next year that people aren't aware of and probably should be. Mag, god of war 3, heavy rain, white knight chronicles, we don't know much about it yet but quantum theory should be cool(looks like stylized gears clone, tecmo is behind it). Idk why everyone says there is a lack of exclusives I would say there is far more out and coming than the 360

man, 360 fanboys piss me off. what, happy you only have 2 games to fall back on? eventually both of them are going to be on PC, then the 360 will have no good exclusives. and by the way your community sucks. im rarely on live these days because of stupid 13 year old nerds who think its funny to make farting and sex noises into the mic while playing halo 3. i really dont have a complaint with that, cause most of my friends have 360's, so i play on the 360. but im getting MW2 for ps3, so ill see how it is
