I'd say get a PS3, for all reasons listed already. Oh, and get Uncharted 2, Little Big Planet, and then wait for MAG. I love it from what I've played so far.
for sure get Uncharted 2, LBP (water is getting added soon, and is rumored to come out at same time as pirates of the caribbean level pack), eh on MAG I was in beta and it was kind of lame, definately get MW2, infamous was great, and I haven't played a Crack in Time yet or AC2, both are sitting in my dining room right now but i cant play them cuz they're for christmas
4 of my fav games def good choice. And it was confirmed yesterday that water is coming to LBP next tuesday, with the pirates pack like i said a few posts up. Check out that and the metal gear solid level pack when you get the game. Both are six bucks, but they add a lot to the game. And thinking of it now you are probably getting the GOTY edition and that comes with the metal gear solid pack, and a ton of other dlc.
Well it really depends on what you like. My favorite PS3 game is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. I haven't even bothered with the story mode because the online is so good. This is the type of game that you can put a ton of time into and reap the rewards via ranks ect. My kids really like Little Big Planet but I find it kind of boring. I much prefer the New Super Mario Bros. for the Wii. I thought Infamous was pretty good and since I didn't care for the first Uncharted, I skipped part two, although I have heard it is fantastic.
dude. second one kills the first one. Uncharted one looked good and had fun mechanics but even the short ride felt repetitive by the end. There is actual caution and search AI, with last known positition stuff so they don't always know where you are even when in cover, and you can be legit stealth. Besides that the graphics are ridiculous, multiplayer is smooth, and the game is much more varied than the first game. There is like 2 chapters in a jungle like environment in this game, as opposedto pretty much all 24 of the first game. Don't let the first one turn you off.
You need Modern Warfare 2. I got the 360 one the day it came out and WOW. Just go buy it, I don't care how just get it. You also need Metal Gear Solid 4 since it's the best game series ever. Just do it.
Fix'd. Lying on your back two feet in front of the enemy in the middle of the street in the bright sunlight does not, and never will count as stealth.
yeah they both have online multiplayer. Mgs multiplayer was kind of bad, idk i didn't really like it felt too stiff, and uncharted 2 multiplayer is great. The only good game mode is plunder(CTF), and you're not guarunteed to get into a game of plunder cuz of their weird matchmaking system, but they are I think adding a plunder only playlist and when they do I'll start playing the online again.
