I heard it is pretty good with the art style and stuff not really a big fan of anime myself if you want something kid friendly try and find a used copy of Little Big planet not GOTY edition one of the older ones thats all i got for kid friendly
Right: Demon's Souls is a great choice. Little Big Planet would be a nice addition to that list. If you enjoy Uncharted you will enjoy Uncharted 2 - because it is the same, but better. Arkham Asylum is a nice pick, and the PS3 version gets extra maps. I wouldn't bother with Pixel Junk Monsters, because you will probably need PSN credit to fund Dragon Age, because it loves its DLC so much. Bioshock is poor in gameplay but makes up for it in fantastic vision and excellent storytelling and plot devices. Don't wait for the sequel, because it will certainly a) be worse, because the original had a particular story to tell, but the sequel is forcing a story into the franchise, and b) it will probably spoil the original for you, and BELIEVE ME, you do not want this to be spoiled it any way at all. Valkyria Chronicles is something I've heard pretty much nothing but praise for, but have not expirienced the wonderous game itself, but I may do at some point. Fallout 3 is a great game that you can play for hours on end, because the world is expansive, it has several substantial DLC packs, it has tonnes of storylines to follow, blah blah, you'll like it, because most people will, but it sadly departs from the formula of the first two games, which were beyond excellent.
I played Arkham Asylum on the 360 and I loved it. It's a much better experience if you were a fan of the series from the nineties. While you may beat the game in 10 to 12 hours, there's about 3 hours of searching for riddles and other easter eggs. The challenge maps are fun, and if you like trying to beat high scores, than that part is for you. Otherwise, combat is simple, yet engaging and the stealth is truly a fun experience. This is a game you will play more than once.
Even though you don't like racers, you should look into Burnout Paradise. It is really fun and even my racing game hating sister loves going into showtime mode and wreaking the car. I would also recommend, even though you don't like online games, Fat Princess. Anyone who I've gotten to play it has liked it, and you can change the blood settings (blood only, blood and gore, none) to make it suitable for a child. Burnout is $17 used and $20 new, Fat Princess is $15 on PSN.
yea but after completing U1 with collection and most of the weapon trophies knowing I have to go back on hard to get my platnium, and after playing the demo of U2 which to me feels the same with much improved graphics I will take a break
...AGAIN? No, just kidding. I'm not obsessed, it's just there's nothing else to talk about. I already over-played LBP just like this long, long, ago. At the day of its launch.
After hearing everyones suggestions I will go for bioshock which surprisingly was my first pick until I saw dragon age for $40 and started having second doubts. I think $20 for bioshock is a killer especially since I have $16 credit. I also looked into MGS4 and dark asylum some more and although they do look fun, I keep looking up demon soul, I'm gonna try to get my older bro to buy any of these 2 games since he likes stealth games so much, let's hope he falls for it . Uncharted 2 and demon soul are a bit too expensive right now though. Thanks everyone for your suggestions, I hadn't thought about DLC for dragon age so thanks for reminding me. Maybe I. The future I'll get some if the rest but for now I think I have a nice list of games. Thanks all!!
