Yep. I started early, though. Got an advanced copy. But finished it today along with my review. Top notch stuff.
It's not a long game if you sit down and crunch it, like I did. But I did so because I really enjoyed it from beginning to end.
I'd say there is kind of a "theme" mechanic (or complication, if you will) for each of the five chapters. Also: Congrats to the developers on the AppStore feature.
Yes. I was actually really surprised at how challenging some of them were. I want to actually go back to one of the levels bc I feel like I sort of cheated it. But you can also skip a level and come back to it, which a lot of developers forget/neglect to offer. Here's my review if you want to know more details. But I purposely left parts of it vague: http://www.appunwrapper.com/2015/07/23/prune-review/ For those playing who want some less vague help/hints/secrets, I compiled this little guide: http://www.appunwrapper.com/2015/07/24/prune-walkthrough-guide/
Well, I launched the game and loved it from the very beginning. So I kept playing and got to level 2-11 when it crashed. No big deal, I thought, let's launch it again. Imagine my surprise when the tutorial appeared. Apparently you just lose all your progress if the app process happens to close one way or another. Such a disappointment. I think I'll try playing it again in a month or two, but for right now this kinda made me lose interest in the game.
The game is phenomenal! Atmospheric & Tranquil! From the art style to the simple swiping controls, this game is more than words could describe!
Developer here--thanks for the kind words you guys! OrangeJews: Oh no!! Soo sorry about that! If you can give me any more details that would be great. (eg - device, iCloud on or off?)
Nooooooo I just finished the game but I want more. I loved every second of it. the slicing mechanic to snip you tree and choose the direction it grows in works really well. brilliant game well recommended to pick up.
