is there any proper, full RPG/SRPG games on iOS? None that require iap. Also prefer Turn Based. There’s plenty on 3DS.... any for iOS? Thanks
A There are literally dozens. You need to be more specific. Original to iOS? Ports? JRPGs? Western RPGs?
I don’t mind.... ports or originals. Prefer western rpgs... but some Jrpgs are good. Is the dragon quest games any good? I liked the Joan of Arc RPG on 3DS
Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, Planescape: Torment, The Quest HD, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy Tactics, The World Ends With You, Aralon. Edit: Not proper RPGs, but I would recommend checking Wayward Souls and Death Road to Canada, since they both have some RPG elements. Both are mobile masterpieces and so much fun.
Also: Ravensword: Shadowlands DragonQuest 5 (and many of the other ones) Banner Saga 1 & 2 Steamworld Heist Severed Chaos Rings 3 Kemco RPGs (quality varies, but my favorite is Djinn Caster). Valkyrie Bastion Transistor Warhammer Quest 2 Ember 7 Mages Exiles Kingdoms Ys Chronicles 1 & 2 Final Fantasy 15 DeusEx: The Fall Monster Hunter: Stories I’m sure I’m forgetting many others.
Thanks for the lists guys. I don’t like action rpgs though. Don’t like monster hunter. I’m thinking RPG in the style of Joan de arc on 3DS. Or maybe the dragon quest games. I do like baldurs gate and the others same advice that too
Monster Hunter Stories is turn based , not an action RPG I played Jeanne D’arc on the PSP many years ago, and if I remember correctly it’s similar to FFT and Tactics Ogre. The FFT iOS port is fantastic. I would also check out the Banner Saga games, as well as Portia 1 and 2, War Hammer Quest 2, and Empire of Angels. Kemco has a couple of SRPG titles, including Legma Tactica and Tears Revolude. Check out Templar Battleforce Elite as well.
