App info is currently processing and/or the app is not yet fully available for sale on the US App Store.

    oh like wow ! :)

anyone tried it ? seen a review ?

this could be excellent, and its actually by propellerhead

unfortunately having skimmed and read a bit about this, it seems to be good BUT its just ported and not optimized for the iphone. The main complaints are its too easy to hit the wrong buttons, and the zooming is wrong.
The main suggestion for correcting it seems to be that each synth should be on its own screen.
Still looks intestering at this price mind you :)

I bought it and absolutely love it. It is indeed a port of the PC version, so if you hated that you won't like this. The zooming I find quite easy - a double tap on a "module" (303, 808, 909, FX, mixer etc) makes that module fill the screen. Double tap again and it zooms out. Personally I prefer this method to sliding screens in and out, but then I know where everything is on Rebirth. Watching the video made a few things more obvious - I hadn't noticed that you tap a control then can slide sideways before using up/down slides to turn the knob whilst being able to see it!

It sounds just like it did on the PC (awesome!). I don't know how they (Retronyms) did it - it is as if the PC code is magically running on your iPhone!

I hope they add iPad native res to it soon in a unified download, and investigate using one of the audio copy/paste options out there so you can put sounds straight into another app. Putting acid loops directly into Looptastic would be awesome!

That's incredible! Can't believe they managed to get this into an iDevice. robman, any idea if the files you save in this are compatible with the original rebirth files? (and vice versa)

I believe so, using their upload/download service. If you go to rebirthapp.com and read through the docs it explains. Not tried it myself, but downloading songs from their built-in song browser is dead easy.

Such a great app, so long as you understand it is *just* a direct port of Rebirth on a tiny screen that you have to scroll around! Lots of people seem to have wanted a complete re-write of the user interface.

Totally awesome. I used to do play with Rebirth all the time. Would love to own it on my iPad.

Does anyone know if this is unified application for both iPhone and iPad or is it just for iPhone?

Just bought the app. I have never heard of reBirth before, but from what you all said and from what Google told me :)P), I guess this is pretty awesome.

Don't like it yet. The graphics suck when zoomed in... let's see what I think about the audio stuff

Wow. I didn't see this coming.

Is there some kind of export? I didn't see anything about it in the description.

    Edit:
    I found this:
    SHARE MENU
This allows you to upload Songs and share them with other users.
    UPLOADING A SONG
    This works as follows:
Open the Song you wish to share.
Open the Share menu and tap the “Upload Now” button.
The file will be uploaded to a server.
The E-mail application on your iPhone/iPod will open, where you can specify the recipient(s) you wish to share the Song with.
The recipient(s) will receive an e-mail with a link to a web page. On this page they can select to download the Song or, if needed, first download ReBirth from the App Store. They can also browse any other Songs uploaded by you by using the “View all shared songs” link.

this is actually excellent but its a shame that they did not put a bit more effort into optimizing the controls.
With a little better controls this really would be absolutely brilliant :(
