Promo Codes: Word Ace Pro

Hey, all! The response to the Taxiball haiku contest was pretty freakin' awesome a few months back - and I'd love to give away some promo codes for Word Ace Pro. But as people noted, giving away a promo code doesn't really help you get the word out, 'cause people wait for a promo code and don't buy the game.



Well, Word Ace is different, anyway. The ENTIRE GAME is free. You want a multiplayer online game of poker and a word game all smashed together, you can HAVE it for NOTHING.

What we're giving away is COMPLETELY POINTLESS - a code for Word Ace Pro, which is exactly the same as Word Ace, except that it has a gold icon, 12,000 extra chips, and the ability to spend money to get more chips.

That gold icon is pretty swank, though -

So, if you want an awesome gold icon, and an extra 12K chips (and the ability to buy stuff w/In-App purchase...), what do you need to do?

It's simple. Download Word Ace (which you can get here). If you like it, leave it a good review on the App Store. In your review, work in the highest-scoring word you've made (you'll be able to see it on your Profile page). Then post your friend code here.

For instance, if my highest scoring word was WACKIER, which it is, I might say,

"I've been playing Word Ace for more than two hundred hours. I don't know what's wackier - spending that much time playing Word Ace, or having gone a month and a half without sleep. The game is awesome!"

(I'm not asking you to leave dishonest reviews. If you don't like the game, a Word Ace Pro code won't mean anything to you anyway, right? So if you dig it, please participate. If you hate it - do whatever feels right to you.)

Then you'd come here, and say, "My Word Ace Friend Code is 1447431795 - add me!" and some Touch Arcade peeps would add you, you'd have some friends to play with, then it wouldn't seem WACKIER that you're playing Word Ace rather than sleeping.

We'll pick a winner a day for the next week! (...though the scheduling might be a little crazy, as I'm expecting my first kid sometime this week - so I might be otherwise occupied for a little while, but no one knows when. But we'll give out the promo codes for sure!)
