I've had this happen before - you should be able to use the same code - if not, go to the game's page and see if you can rate it - if you can, iTunes knows you "bought" the game already, you can just download it.
try downloading/purchasing again, once you use a code or purchase something on iTunes, you can re-download it for free. Since you already applied the code, try to repurchase and download. Should be free.
